I try to always be honest. If I have just met a girl, I don't want to scare her off by saying I want a long-term relationship when she doesn't want that. I'm still happy to be friends with her.

Friday night I had 2 different women hit on me. Both were probably mid 30's. I was polite but I told them both I'm not looking for a relationship or dating at the moment. The first one just accepted that answer and was cool about it.

The second one saw me signing the check and said "Ooooh, left handed people are intelligent". I smiled and said thanks but you may be wrong in my case. I put on my jacket and turned away from her to leave and she literally jumped off her seat, ran around her group of friends, and got right in front of me to block me from leaving. She says..."I guess the one you were looking for didn't show up tonight". I smiled and replied, "I wasn't looking for anyone. I was serious when I told you I'm not looking to date or a relationship at the moment". She had a hurt look on her face.

So I guess a guy is just the asshole no matter what we do.
