Why do do many guys in relationships lie about little things?

Is it because you don't want to deal with any confrontation? Is it a personality disorder so u don't have to communicate? Or is plain disrespect because u don't respect her?

My guy of 3 years lies about things such as when his flights arrive home, where he's headed etc. He has a problem with him feeling suffocated I'd say love avoidant to an extent. But he is always there for me, buys me nice gifts, is supportive. I don't get it. This is a full grown man. Maybe man child lol

A person who hides information is not always evil and malicious. I know somebody who was dumped for being unattractive and their ex girlfriend said they dumped him for more comfortable reasons. I did not think it was necessary to tell him he was being lied to and he was dumped for reasons he had no control over and not reasons he could control like his culture or religion etc...

You must ask him too many questions and wants it to stop? Maybe he thinks you don't trust him?

Not really. I'm extremely intuitive and street smart so I don't have to ask I just know. Maybe he just doesn't want to say hey I'm too tired, or I'm meeting my friend instead. I asked him last week about a lie and he covered his lie with another lie. I didn't yell or get angry I just said please stop lying. Lol

Yes his friends are all successful men and I don't like any of them. They all do sketchy things. They do love me though.

Likely because you get on his ass about too many things that really don't matter and he's tired of hearing about it. So he does it to avoid dealing with you.

Not all guys like that. Could be the way he was brought up or maybe some scars from his past

This. Though I wouldn't punish him. I'm an assertive woman he's not used to that. His ex wife let him do whatever he wanted and never ever questioned him.
