I'm not a really politically involved guy, but when I heard Vivek come on YouTube, he grabbed my attention in 2 seconds and everything I was hearing him say made 100% sense.
His personal story, being the first-generation son of Indian immigrants, he knows deeply the American dream and what we need to do for the best of the USA.
He's extremely intelligent, can speak at length on virtually every subject of discussion, and talks about good, solid solutions to problems.
He's a political outsider with proof of great leadership in industry.
I truly think that he is a great leader.

Nikki Haley, I know nothing of, at all.

DeSantis, I don't really enough about DeSantis to speak about him.
The little I do know about him leaves me very hesitant about supporting him.

None of them are good leaders. Historically, do you see a man like Gautam Buddha in any country of the world? A man who leaves his riches to find and do something valuable for mankind? The fact that the culture has many such kings, says a huge deal. Look back to Indian leaders from history, you will find men who are far more in touch with emotions, consideration of the public - men who when they reach affluence provide for family, for parents.

In America the only person who one can truly regard as great (for being in touch with sense of what's right) would probably be Abraham Lincoln. Age is important in being able to have sharpness to solving issues.

The 70 to 80% are the class that don't value cleanliness or education, and they vote for their candidate based on case - no matter how corrupt he/she is. These things are slowly changing but yeah, democracy gives leaders the masses want - and the masses in India. The ones that value education, work ethic are eaten up by these wolves - so they go abroad to the US and UK. This is what explains the paradox of why the Indian diaspora does so well (you have leaders, CEOs etc), but India as a country does so poorly. There is some push from investments of the Indian diaspora in India to change these - but you just take a trip in India's railways and you'll see people spitting, littering anywhere. If someone told them to keep it clean, they'll start a fight and ask "who are you to tell me". What's the solution? Migrate to the US or UK where your sense of cleanliness, work ethic and intelligence will be valued.

I've seen couples and this is about the broader culture, not your or some few people's experiences - to provide, to be responsible, to be loving, to respect one's parents like divinity, and the culture that holds women like goddess ONLY comes from upper classes in India.

This isn't known much because the majority are from backward classes that don't have these values.

In fact, you'll see even white men who get hitched to Indian women take up these values because they understand that expectation is set.

What makes you even think Sunny Leone is the hottest? She is, but there are many others. Have you seen Bollywood actresses? All of them except a few (like Priyanka Chopra) get married to Indian men - be because they actually understand emotions.

Also Indians (the class who do have toilets, which are the only ones I'm talking about), clean themselves with water which is way cleaner than smearing it with a toilet paper. But all of this is going on a tangent -- Indian men understand real emotions -- like for instance, I can already say your negativity comes from an ex boyfriend who was Indian, who upset you. Actually it should be any American who can manage money well, communicates well in English, good family values, educated and understands American values. I see a lot of potential people who are Christians in the US who fit these criteria, but aren't completely there - for instance they could have unnecessary biases against LGBTQ people or be okay with abortion for rape and incest because of their religious values. The people who fit these things currently are the Indian-American leaders because it comes from their culture.

The Indians in US follow Indian culture. The Indians in India don't follow their culture - because it's the classes/clans that don't follow it that multiplied in huge numbers and have essentially hijcked the country because it's a democracy. Affluent Indians who happen to migrate to foreign (like Rishi Sunak, Sundar Pichai) are representive of that Indian culture. And for reasons stated it's far better than the current American culture which has a 50% divorce rate, no respect for parents, unscrupulous leaders (like Trump), medication overdose, mental health issues, debts, gun violence.

I see only two "kinds" of people who can save America's situation - 1. A truly Christian conservative leader with family values, 2. A person with Indian-American values like Rishi Sunak who is sensible and frugal.

Option 1 would reflect the majority but sadly is problematic because Christian leaders have ideas restricting abortions even in cases of incest and rape, and generally against LGBTQ. Among Indians in the diaspora support the movement. Their religion is the only one that doesn't even go into stoning or homosexuality being a sin. That's because a lot of earlier cultures (including Native American, Polynesian) understood human emotions and nature at a very fundamental level and just see LGBTQ as humans that exist. You keep missing - it's not about race per se, it's about the culture that comes with the race.

India is a country that has been invaded many, many times, sure it has bad aspects, but I don't see any Indian-American (not American-Indian) leaders having those bad aspects - that's why I mentioned this is specifically about the diaspora in the OP.

Just compare Rishi Sunak to Donald Trump, it's like looking at two different species of intelligence. There are definitely some Christian conservative leaders in US who can bring back a good country, but like I said they might have to learn a little out of the conservative ideas towards abortion and LGBTQ. Even a mild Christian leader would actually work - perhaps better than an Indian-American because people will see him as a real American.

Hindu divorces are low because they're able to reconcile after conflict. Ideas of love are deep rooted in their culture. Like a king voyaging against many odds to save his queen as part of the Ramayana epic, and these are still deeply held values - and the higher more educated people look up to these values - also includes treating one's parents like divinity for instance.

Nobody obviously is perfect. But just that the culture aims there, leads to it landing somewhere there and having dialogues with that as a standard. Just so you know divorce is looked down in all Asian cultures (Arab, Chinese, Japanese etc) as well, it does nothing to keep the divorce rates low. You should read Maria Arbatova who mentions something on these lines - being open, keeping a deeply emotional bond with family. In the US most of those ideas of emotional bond for men are just seen as weakness and that's the starting of the problem. The bigger problem is women who bring nothing to the table (pun intended) because they don't know how to make a meal or think it's beneath them to do so among many other things.

I don't say this as a culturalist or something, I think for America's problems today, it could gain and solve a lot from those values - education, frugality, respecting one's parents and even supporting them, not being hyper-militaristic etc. You ever wonder how Indians come from humble backgrounds and then buy houses over 700k in a foreign country? Simple - they invest in education, dedicate themselves, live within their means, stand by their partner through anything. Because they don't have ideas of individual greatness in a relationship - they readily lean on each other, it's seen as a good thing.
