I never had an issue with LGB people. In fact, I support gay marriage rights and anti-discrimination laws. Who somebody is attracted to or what kind of sex they are into isn't my problem.

But the militant LGBTQRSTUV thing has gotten completely out of hand and the Dems aren't just promoting tolerance and inclusivity, they are promoting and encouraging that shit and trying to normalize it. The new word "heteronormative" is a bad thing. As a result, there is a backlash, which could have been expected.

I think the biggest backlash is an effort to protect children from being brainwashed into questioning their gender, allowing them to be "transitioned" without their parent's knowledge, and being sterilized and mutilated by unethical "professionals" who are only motivated by profit.

And then there is the nonsense about men who claim to be women being allowed into women's only facilities like locker rooms and showers, and competing as women in female athletics.

The refusal to define the word "woman" is an attempt to wipe out the idea of womanhood.

I think LGB people should be left alone, but I support protecting impressionable children from attempts at indoctrination, sterilization and mutilation, as well as defending the definition of "woman". I don't consider any of that to be oppression. Quite the contrary, I consider it to be protection.

So, in answer to the question, I think the pendulum swung way too far in one direction and reversing it is right direction for this country and for humanity.

Is a bathroom bill a state of emergency? I can show you several places I've been where they throw them off roofs. That seems more "state of emergency" to me than someone telling me I can't use that bathroom over there.
