The 2nd Amendment is usually the one brought up. I'm not particularly anti-gun, and am rather pro-gun when it comes to rural areas. But if I recall, the bill of rights was signed in a building that didn't allow guns in a city with weapons restrictions, some of which the signers themselves put in place. If you read about their deliberations, it's generally clear they were referring to a state's right to defend themselves as a necessary part of each of the states being independent sovereign entities. (I think the civil war kinda ended state sovereignty) The national government was supposed to be something more akin to the EU, with the states being more akin to countries. Hence why we call them states while other countries call theirs territories.
The 1st amendment I worry about a bit. It has gotten fuzzy, because we have more ways of expressing free speech than ever, and these outlets often impose restrictions. It isn't legal action, so I wouldn't say it is infringing. It's basically a question of "if everyone has a megaphone, is it censorship to take someone's megaphone away?" They aren't worse off than they would otherwise be, but at the same time, I would call that a form of censorship.
Workers' rights are certainly down the tube. Probably not helped by the fact that major unions are prone to the same questional practices, but smaller unions are squashed under the weight of mega corporations like Amazon.
The big constitutional things I worry about come from equal and accurate representation of all people. The government is less representative than it's been in a long time. Lobbyists hold way more power. Politicians choose their voters to keep themselves in office. Everyone in DC has more loyalty to each other than to their own constituents. I mean if there was one thing I would point to that leads to corruption, instability, and collapse, it would be improper representation. Generally a big player in the fall of many large nations and empires. The British Empire, Romans, USSR. Right-wing or left-wing. Conservative or radical. It has less to do with the system and more to do with the population's willingness to carry it out. Countries are held together by popular mandate. If you squash that, you are left with a split population and an authoritarian band of rich people trying to heard people like cattle.
Why are you still alive and free? You obviously haven’t stood up yourself if your free. And how far is too far? How har is not far enough? Will you kill? Torture? Maim? Can you commit unspeakable acts to get what you want.
It’s not like police arresting a murder. It’s people fighting for what they believe in and killing for it. If your posting here your not at that point yet and honestly… America will never reach that point to a great enough degree enough people fight back and win. We’re too civil. It’s not about life right now so it’s not worth killing over… but when it is about Americans dying it will be too late. The guns will be gone, you will be tracked and silenced, and the war were about to be in will leave us starving and begging the government for war to survive.

LoL, how about when cannabis was a plant the founders grew and they decided to demonize it post-prohibition, at a time when "farm fuels" were competitive alternatives to oil. The very thing the constitution was written on and they made a puritanical war against it that continues for the sake of an enforcement cycle that no one is willing to end yet. Surveillance from Patriot Act was at least highlighted because of what Snowden revealed, it's not as bad as China.
Hopefully. The Amendments are way outdated and needed to be changed all the time that's kinda the point. If they didn't by the way, White Men of 21 would still be the only ones who could vote. Which needless to say is racist, sexist and everything in-between. But that was an old amendment that existed. Lucky scripted it away due to progress.
Presidents themselves have pushed against amendments after knowing there were not great. Even the founding fathers had massive debates along with many opinions on dogmatic beliefs. Which safe to say they would highly disagree with anyone if they have dogmatic beliefs that the amendments are full proof and should be followed to the letter or even kept the same. No doubt they would still argue about things within it and be open to changing it aswell.
Yup. The Democrats have been working to make the US Constitution just a piece of parchment so they can have total domination over the lives of everyone in the country. The Republicans want total domination too, but they want to work within the US Constitution and have the big corporations do the work for them. They'll just control the corporations.
It wouldn't be a bad thing if they were. How about you judge laws and policies based on their actual merits (using up to date research and public consensus), and not just the opinions of a handful of guys who lived 200 years ago? The only time anyone ever mentions the constitution is when they're hiding behind it, trying to use it to justify some otherwise unjustifiable opinion or course of action.
We should have stuck with the Articles of Confederation. As soon as they created a central government it started to go down hill and has been sliding ever since. We need to get rid of the federal government completely and go back to the idea of united states (lower case).

No, our ammendments aren't being done away with, but some members of society are actively having their rights stolen from them by evil politicians and their supporters. The times we live in depress me.
