When I was homeless last year, I feared people! People freak me out! I stayed in a homeless shelter once for a few days. That was a JOKE! The people that ran it were racist, and stole from the residents. Then they are supposed to help people get back on their feet by helping with employment, help obtain documents, such as social security cards and birth certificates, and they are also supposed to help people apply for disability.

The only thing they did was help people get food stamps and health insurance, and even then, they supplied the paper work, but the resident had to do all the work. Some of them were old and/or illiterate. The one day, one of them stole my insulin. My blood sugar was through the roof for 2 weeks before my insurance would pay for another prescription.

I felt embarrassed about being homeless. I could never stand on a corner and beg like a lot of them did. And I never was safe. On the street, there are people with guns, knives, and then there's drug dealers, a lot of addicts who will mug you. People tried to mug me 3 times, I think it was, but I pretended I weas crazy and screamed in their face.

One day someone did manage to get the ring off of my finger that my grandmother gave me a long time ago before she died. It was a birthstone ring she gave me for my birthday. Take my advice! Do what you can to avoid being put out on the street! I was diagnosed with diabetes last year, and got real sick, and couldn't work for a long time, and I was living with an aunt who was a narcissist. When she tried poising me, I had enough.

There I was at the beginning of June, my blood sugar was in the 1,000s, my foot was fractured in 3 places, including the joint, I had to walk on these crutches, and I was sleeping behind a grocery store. There were dozens of boxes, so it was all good there. The only thing that sucks is when it rains, and because of my broken foot, I had a hard time getting in and out of the box because of the pain and my walking boot. Other than that, at least it was a place to sleep.

But yeah, I fear people period!

Not really, just have no time for them. I had a flat a few years ago. We had issues of the homeless coming into the block and using basement stairs as a lavatory. I had the scrub the stairs more than knce, picking up human excrement. I have no sympathy for any of them.

no but when there's taong grasa or people who have mental issues i am vigilant when i go near them because they might grab me or anything but iif i'm the president of my country i want these people to be given mental health treatment. i feel so bad for them 💔💔💔💔

I’ll hand them money from the car window. Other than that, i’d be a bit paranoid if anyone was following me around or walking up on me without me having called them over. I think thats people in general rather than homelees

Yeah, a little bit. A lot of them are tweakers and mentally ill, and are extremely territorial. They'll set up in PUBLIC squares and parks, then proclaim it as "THEIR space". When I was in Uni, everyday they would shit outside our office building.

I’m general no but I do get afraid if they do something to make me afraid like bang on the car window at a red light or act aggressive and follow me if I don’t give them money. Money of them are really nice though.

Yes, who knows what their deal is. The could be crazy and kill me or break into my truck and steal my stuff. They could be carrying a disease or just puke all over me.
