I think the real problem is that so many young guys believe in the "long wolf" type as a role model. Because what are politicians supposed to do? Make guys take responsibility for their sons or other young guys?
I think the problem that many young guys spend way too much time online and comparing each other to rolemodels they can´t compete with or expecting change to happen quickly. Looking at my own life and looking at other guy´s life it´s easy to quit and give up if you failed at changing.
The real problem is that guys either teach other that they need to fight their battles alone. It´s true that everybody has to fight their battles for themselves but that´s something different.
The difference who do you think can get rid of his alcohol addiction? The guy that came to the conclusion that alcohol is bad and that he has to get rid of it completely and who since then also keeps fighting it alone and has no one told that he´s addicted to alcohol or the guy who has asked opened up to his friends and has them support him?
Probably the second one, but that´s nothing politicians can change but that´s a choice every guy has to make on their own.

+1 yoh Donald Trump was! this was also one of the reasons why he was demonized so much. and as a bonus why do you think a lot of feminists hate him and broke down when he won in 2016?

You mean the rising mental health problems?
Yes I agree nothing is done about that. But that is not only a men Problem and feminists have tried to do something about that for years but where denied because 'its not worth and they are just crazy'.
How about working together instead of working against each other?
But again there will probably be people here saying 'We dont need or want your help this is our problem and you only want to make it about yourself.'
Yes I see how you can do it yourself...00 Reply
+1 yYou know that’s a very selfish, ignorant and outdated thing to say. Time to stop listening to the Manosphere and get over yourself.

Asker+1 ySo you think all activists are selfish?

Lol you’re the ones who put men down for trying to get help. So they stay silent and maybe that’s why you think they are getting overlooked. We’ve example after example of sick men being overlooked. I wonder why.

+1 yI'm not sure what you mean by "crisis of masculinity", but it could mean a lot of different things.
If you're talking about the decrease in testosterone, then we are looking at increase in use of social media and electronic devices, as well as increase of toxins in the water and therefore food supply, leading to more frail people in general. The answer would then be that politicians don't care because all those industries generate money, so laws are made that create commerce over health.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Aw16LPVnNcoI could go on to answer various other scenarios, but money is the be all end all for politicians, so if you meant something else, just follow the money and you will find the answer to what interests politicians and why they are not interested in (insert agenda here that doesn't generate revenue).

Fabulous reply. Follow the money. This is why global warming has been ignored. PBS did a two or three part expose' of the oil industry. It was shocking. How during pandemic oil companies made the most money of all time, even with few people driving. How for decades the oil companies KNEW about global warming, but because they were making so much money, and all of their employees/CEOs too, counter arguments were floated that convinced even people who were working for them. There was this embarassed former PR man for big oil who said he didn't realize because the lies were so convincing. But he started reading loads of facts that the companies knew and suppressed. And the lobbyists had dozens of politicians in their pockets, doling out multimillions of dollars: not EVEN a drop in the bucket of their enterprises.
The fines levied against BP after their 2010 spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Didn't hurt them a bit. But ruined oyster industry for the small oyster farmers off the coast of Louisiana, my home. It's only now, 13 years later that recovery has begun.
Money on the scale that these people make it is poisonous.
And for some reason, these mega-rich folk think their money will insulate them from poisoned water, food, air, rising sea levels. People who have children and grandchildren. It's stupifying. This is my rant. And JUST about oil!
I also don't know what general crisis of masculinity you're referring to besides lower testosterone levels due to environmental issues. Any problems that men have, are human problems. We all have fathers, brothers and sons. Are they all in crisis in your opinion. Elucidate, please.

By seeing to it that a Republican President and super majority House of Reps and Senate are elected so they, in turn, see to it that the Supreme Court is safely Conservative majority with a minimum of Liberal appointed Judiciary. Democrats and their useful idiots created this problem and we have to clean them and the swamp out, including reforming the FBI, Justice Department and eliminating bureaucracies like the BATF and Education departments. Since our Constitution and our culture do not permit taking the Express Route, we only have elections.

+1 ydon't know but it's a good issue.
women yell louder and seek support more with crying and such? Men are more loners, harder to engage, and when they go bad just die in the gutter or go violent. doesn't bode well for our results historically.
It's big issue...

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt's very simple. MEN are trained by their mothers to only concern themselves with women's issues. Women are trained to only concern themselves of their issues. Whenever a male group rises to address men's issues, most men mock and don't support it and go right along with the feminist in calling said group "incel or misoygnist".
Men issues will never be heard because most men don't give a damn about each other and always try to be the most alpha in the room in order to impress females.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWhat do you mean by counteract it?
You’ll never convince politicians to care, they’d rather have men be weak, passive, docile, easy to control.
You’ll never convince women to care either, it’s not their problem and they just don’t get it anyway.
As a man you’re on your own. Nobody is coming to save you. You have to deal with your own problems.

Weak men dont overthrow currupt governments or start a revolt.
Besides, this lack of care will backfire horribly

+1 yIt’s because the mass media, entertainment and academia doesn’t give a rat’s ass about men. Especially straight Caucasian men.
00 Reply Because world is gynocentric and most women love to victimise themselves so that they could continue profiting from this system at the expense of men.
00 ReplyPoliticians are interested in wealth and power. Mental health isn't a profitable venture. If you think there's an issue then work on it at s personal level and maybe that could influence some people around you

And I did wonder abut this considering in France we nearly only talk about women problem and women suicide but on average men suicide themselves 3 time more than women so they logically should have bigger problem then what women have.
I was quite shocked to learn men suicide more than women as I thought it was the reverse (considering what hey showed on tv).

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWhat crisis?

Asker+1 yRight now is the biggest crisis of masculinity in history. Men often do not have male role models and cannot deal with emotions, there is no good psychology for young boys, less and less men are educated, in my opinion it is disturbing and one day underestimating such problems will literally affect the whole society. Young people are getting married less and less.
Why are people surprised that more and more men join the manosphere when they don't want to hear about men's issues?
