Since Conservatives hate the media, do they want government controlled press that only praises the conservative movement?

As someone who believes in many conservative ideals, what you proposed is not what I or the conservatives I know want.

What I want is an assortment of ideas on popular news channels. However that’s not what happens. Well known news channels such as cnn and fox are for the most part dominated by democratic ideas. I just wish for there to be an abundant of ideas. Sometimes it seems like the press is controlled already.

Of course, I never want the government to control the press as it violates the first amendment: freedom of press.
