Covid was the worst, I had a cup of coffee thrown at me by an African American woman because we Asians were blamed for covid. I have heard from Marxist feminists and critical race theorists more than once that they believe the reason Asian Americans excel so much is because they have white privilege of their own being fair in skin and "behaving like white people". Aside from the racism of that statement, that also ignores that blatantly contradictory fact that the Asians that excel most in the US in terms of educational attainment, median and household income, and lowest crime are Indo-Americans and Indian Americans who tend have skin as dark as black people.

I think people who obsess on race find a lot of anger and a sense that their society is so oppressive against their race, like radicalized feminists protesting against the patriarchy with their obsession on sex.

I don't think they are stupid though. I think their teachers are foul; teaching them to look at everything in terms of race, sex, and ultimately oppressor vs. oppressed. It turns people who buy into such racist ideologies feel like victims being oppressed all the time by everything, and I can't really blame them if they end up being so angry and wanting to fight to overthrow what they were taught as their oppressors.

If the guy across from me flies a swastika and i'm jewish then he knows that i'm not going to like it... probably say something bad about his character.
