Trump's promise of payback for prosecution follows years of attacking democratic traditions

As Donald Trump became the first former president to face federal charges, he and his supporters went through a familiar routine of mounting a victimhood defense in the face of unprecedented allegations of wrongdoing. But this time, the stakes are higher.

Trump upped the level of his claims and threats as he faces the potential of years in prison if convicted on 37 charges of obstruction, illegal retention of defense information and other violations. Hours after pleading not guilty, Trump claimed he is being targeted by the special prosecutor, who is nonpartisan, for political reasons and vowed to retaliate against President Joe Biden if he is elected president in 2024.

“There was an unwritten rule” to not prosecute former presidents and political rivals, Trump told supporters in a speech at his golf club in New Jersey. “I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after the most corrupt president in the history of America, Joe Biden, and go after the Biden crime family.”

The vow is reminiscent of the “lock her up” chants against Democrat Hillary Clinton that Trump led during his 2016 campaign, but the new level of specificity alarmed many experts.

"If he did that, it’d be an authoritarian system, the end of a system of laws rather than of one man,” said Lindsay Chervinsky, a presidential historian.

Well thinking of whether retribution or revenge, it's like a twisted, unholy orgy of pain and pleasure, with Trump at the center of it all. Imagine Trump, stripped naked and tied to a bed, as his former political rivals take turns using him as their personal plaything. It's like a scene straight out of a horror movie, with blood, sweat, and cum flying everywhere. The sound of Trump's moans and screams echoing through the room, as he begs for mercy.

But then, just when you think it can't get any more depraved, Trump's body begins to contort and twist in unnatural ways. His eyes roll back into his head and his flesh starts to bubble and boil, as if he's being possessed by some demonic force. Suddenly, the room is filled with an otherworldly energy as the demonic presence within Trump takes control. His former political rivals are thrown back by an invisible force, their bodies slamming against the walls with bone-crunching force.

Trump's body rises up from the bed, hovering in mid-air as the demonic entity within him speaks in a guttural, demonic language. The room is filled with the stench of sulfur and decay, as the demonic energy pulsates through the air like a tangible force. And then, with a final burst of energy, the demonic presence within Trump explodes outwards, consuming everything in its path. The room is destroyed in a cataclysmic blast of fire and energy, leaving nothing but ash and rubble in its wake. There is only darkness and silence, as the horror of what has just happened sinks in. And through it all, Trump's twisted laughter echoes through the void, a testament to his revenge.
