In what countries is divorce illegal?

I believe the Philippines is one of the last countries that divorce is not legal in. Which is why is probably why so many people either kill or attempt to kill their spouses there.

Personally, I don't care whether a divorce is legal or not. It seems to me like 99% of the time, people who get divorced deserve it. And if someone chooses to move to a country where divorce is illegal but they happen to suck so bad that their spouse kills them, that's on them too. You reap what you sow

You probably wouldn't like it much in those places; OTHER laws would see you begging to come back. Better to find a culture that values marriage; making something illegal doesn't stop it- see guns, drugs, porn, etc.

Or just don't get married. No fear of divorce then.
