Here is a deeply meaningful gift to me from my Ukrainian friend~Sunflower🌻.

Sunflower represents spirit of will to live and power to survive. It is the symbol of Ukraine.

She sent me this gift coz I never forget her country and talk to her always (cannot send as cargo coz cargo operations are not available in her country)

But I see that most people forget Ukraine...

They are still dying, still resisting, and still fighting.

You are lucky to see tomorrow, some Ukrainians will not. Just close your eyes for a few seconds and imagine your family and your city under the bombs. Please pray to those heroes for safety and strength and most importantly please don't forget them.

Don't know where you are from, but here in Europe we certainly haven't forgotten about Ukraine. It's one of the most talked about things on the news, even to this day. Of course the fighting is on the front page, but there is always a reminder that regular people are suffering.

Most European countries have also gotten and influx of Ukrainian refugees. This makes it quite easy to stumble upon the topic even if you don't follow any news outlets. I regularly encounter Ukrainians when I go to the supermarket, for instance.

An entire continent is not forgetting about Ukraine, maybe that will cheer you up a little.

That's great to hear thank you for sharing it with me! Ukrainian refugees didn't come to Italy much (ofc we support them we would definitely take them if they came). I don't see Ukraine in international news as often as before. I only see it on the news when Putin talks about nukes.

The counteroffensive has been talked about quite a lot here in the Netherlands. Surprisingly little is said about nukes. We just assume he isn't going to use them for now. Also helps that one of our politicians is an absolute lunatic that embodies something we call 'wappie'. One of those people yelling that Corona was a hoax. Most of those people, including the politician, are pro-Russian as well. Even if he doesn't make it on the news people love joking about 'wappies'. Really no avoiding Ukraine as a topic unless you live under a rock.
