Equality dictates equal risks for equal rights.
1.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes. Absolutely. If women want absolute equality then they should give themselves over to absolute conditions.
and for the ignorant women who decry “rape, rape!”. The poor girls who actually suffer the reprehensible act/crime of rape seldom report it. A good portion of those who do report rape are false accusations that seek vengeance or money.
men in prisons are on par with women who are raped in the free world.
if women knew the horrors of being a man, the real horror of being a man, they would stfu about their period pain, or feeling unsafe walking down a dark alley at 2 AM, and be grateful for those who are willing to protect them and provide for them so they don’t have to face the real monsters in this world on a daily basis.
deal with your period pain and stfu as you enjoy 10 more years of life.

Modern time you have to want to be in the military or the whole thing falls apart. This is how you create the strongest military force worth its salt.
Why do you hate the military? it's like a punishment in a way. While male and female choose to enrole filling the ranks without a draft.

@naultd. With our woke military losing people at an alarming rate, combined with new recruitment being off more than 25%, when Scramble brains Joe gets us into war in the Ukraine (to protect cronies money), there will have to be a draft.
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yIf there ever was a need for a draft to serve on the front lines again the US military would be drafting anyone the feet fit enough to serve on the front lines 15-70 because the majority of Americans are now too fat or obese to be drafted. They'd probably open recruitment to central & south American countries as well as Africa in exchange for US citizenship.
I'm serving in the national guard and let me tell you that you need to be a very strong healthy fit man to serve in the frintline carrying 50-80 kilos of equipment, ammo and body armor for miles every day. The guy I'm married too, half his squad in Afghanistan had to quit the marine corps because of back injuries and ankle problems.
Anyway the draft is irealvent. The amount of front line troops is tiny. Most of it is logistics.

+1 yDid you know that men who identify as women, don't have to register for the draft?

@redhotsallyjo. Holy shit, is this real?
- +1 y
Yes, so if Biden drags us into the Ukrainian war and starts up the draft, tons of guys will say they identify as women. It's better than dying for Biden. And I've heard some pretty sharp people say they think the draft is coming back. That's because it will be a ground war.

Have to protect the "Big Guys" money.
- +1 y
Yes, the whole thing in Ukraine is a scam.
- +1 y
@redhotsallyjo Do you have a link for this somewhere because currently the official website for Selective Service indicates that all males assigned male at birth have to sign up for selective service, even if they are transgender.

@whirled_up_girl
I got it backwards. Transgender men don't have to register. - +1 y
@redhotsallyjo Oh I gotcha, yeah that's true.

@whirled_up_girl
I think a lot of people get those terms confused or backward.

1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Only the women that vote democrat should be required to have an all women's branch of the military (to not put male soldiers' lives at risk due to lack of ability) and serve on the front line for combat.
Until MILLIONS of women willing fight and die, getting shot and having their limbs blown off defending families and their country/society, they haven't earned equality.
10 Reply- 3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yNo, because that would make the military SUCK. Women are not men. That would severely weaken the fighting force to have a bunch of women mixed in. The lack of speed, explosiveness, power, testosterone and aggression... would make them really substandard soldiers and that doesn't help the country fight or win in combat.

@Miristheiss. So, let the female KIA count stack up. Equality demands this.
- 1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yI don't want people with me on the front line "for equality" or any silly reason like that. If you can't cut it and pass the tests I don't want you there, and there aren't enough women who can pass it for there to be "equal percentages."
01 Reply- +1 y
But equality demands an equal body count! Perhaps the women would be sent in first until a statistically viable number of female KIA/Wounded was achieved. After a certain casualty rate is achieved the men can than enter combat.

+1 yI think both men and women should have to sign up for selective service but why for just combat roles? Are men are drafted only for combat roles? I’m a nurse and there are plenty on needed medical roles when at war. A female friend of mine went into the Air Force as an air traffic controller, two of my male friends were medics in the Navy. They weren’t drafted but none of were considered to be in combat roles.
08 Reply- +1 y
@whirled_up_girl. Equality mandates equal numbers of female KIA.
- +1 y
Okay, well I guess women could also choose to be conscientious objectors just as men can currently.
- +1 y
Just like 65% of military women magically get pregnant when they are told they have to deploy.
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin I guess things are more equal than we though then, huh? Men can't get pregnant and women can't get drafted and the military is currently a voluntary system.
- +1 y
You just contradicted yourself.
- +1 y
How, both can avoid combat in one way or another, women by pregnancy or not being drafted (even though there is no draft currently), and men by being a conscientious objector (if there were a draft) and the fact that currently service is voluntary.
- +1 y
Send both pregnant and objectors to the front lines, equality achieved!
- +1 y
Lol, yeah true.
5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I oppose the draft. But women should be allowed to enlist if they want to.
And they should be treated equally with no favoritism. In other words, if they can handle the training, they should be allowed into combat. Some women are bad ass. But they shouldn't be forced into combat and used as cannon fodder if they are incapable. There are other jobs that they can do.00 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. 2 years ago I would've said that feminists wanted equality so, yes, they should be subject to the same rules as men. But today we see things are so confused that traditional dudes aren't even joining the military. They don't want to be fighting for the rainbow flag. There won't even be a military in a few years. I bet the defense department is hard at work trying to make Terminator style robots.

+1 yYes, I think it’s crazy that men have to do so to vote- something that should be a natural right in a democratic republic, and not women. I’d dare to say it suggests that men are replaceable drones, like ants. Or that the military actually only cares about males as soldiers. Either require everyone to or no one at all (ideally the latter).
00 ReplyYea. Women are Drafted in my Country but they not on Frontlines. Kurdish Women are Cool.

+1 yFrontline, no. With modern day technology women can fight in a war through ships on sea or aircrafts as fighter jets and B-2 bombers but not on the ground in the front lines as a woman's body isn't built physically strong enough to endure such circumstances.
09 Reply- +1 y
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy. Equality mandates an equal number of female KIA as male KIA. We can only equalize the numbers by putting women directly into combat.
- +1 y
When people talk equality they are referring to social equality in terms of treatment and opportunities between genders, not fighting in military ranks.
- +1 y
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy. You can't have it both ways.
- +1 y
You are comparing apples to oranges.
There's nothing inherently disadvantage within a society with women having equality in society in terms of treatment and social opportunities vs fighting in the military on the front lines.
Two totally different things. - +1 y
Not according to feminist.
- +1 y
social equality in terms of treatment don't exist. women can assault, rape and harass men and nobody gives a shit. affirmative action hires screws a lot of men out of their opportunities even if they are more qualified. men's mental health and other male related issues like prostate cancer is treated like a joke.

- +1 y
What if a female identifies as a male?
- +1 y
Doesn't matter. She isn't a man.
3.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. you can add brick layers, garbage collectors, sewer cleaners, piano removalists, farm animal slaughterers and pest control to that list
10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Even IDF keeps them mostly in support roles. Most women were not cut out for frontline duty before Americans decided that being fat is fashionable.
However this doesn't mean that I'm against women in frontline units in any case like I want to keep my platoon medic despite of her having tits.
Now I don't count her to be able to do combat wise anything beyond self-defence but frankly that's not her job.

+1 yI would be okay with equality in this regard, but I think I would prefer that neither one was required to draft.

+1 yAs much as I’d like to say no because I don’t want to be drafted it is a must. In the name of equality women should be forced to sign up for the draft.
