Fast not deep researchs shows that mostly snlmall contrtrys avoid war
The list includes Vanuatu, Vatican City, Iceland, Greenland, and San Marino
So just new and small seem to have the highest chance to avoid it
Also not sure Vatican City can really be counter as its inside itely
I also think the Northpool never been to war, but not sure, pinguers are a power militery fource116 Reply- +1 y
Greenland isn't a country.
What's Northpool? - +1 y
@KostasKovalis
Wiki seem to say it is, even if its under the kingdom of Denmark
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenland?wprov=sfla1
Northpool was a joke and a typo meant to say North Pole and not really meant it
@msmissydc I know it is, but as its inside a different one that was in war so do think that takes it out really
I mean if Italy fell I don't think VC will use there repressive army to do anything, they know they lose pretty dam fast, as much as I know they don't really have much of arms or anything
I believe the Crusades where blessed but where not sent as repressive of the country, and not really been part of it, and many times where kind of sponsored by some kingdom no?
Not too familiar with anything in that era so may need to research that - +1 y
@msmissydc I've been to the Vatican, and personally, I agree. Country my ass! However, for whatever reason, the UN decided to recognize it, so it IS officially a country.
Yeah, Vatican City has definitely been involved in wars. Not just the crusades, but also sieges in Rome. - +1 y
I've seen some people say Switzerland, but actually if you count the Vatican's Swiss guards, then Switzerland has technically been involved in war.
San Marino was bombed by the English during WWII, but didn't retaliate, so I guess they technically weren't involved in a war. I guess we should specify first what exactly counts as being "involved in" - +1 y
Vanuatu was involved in WWII, but it technically wasn't its own country yet. I actually saw another source that included Vietnam, because UNITED Vietnam wasn't involved in a war. So there definitely seems to be no consistence on the criteria used
- +1 y
It says it's an "Autonomous territory in the Kingdom of Denmark". I think it's a constituent country, so it's half a country like Wales and Scotland. It's very confusing
- +1 y
@KostasKouvalis Greenland 🇬🇱 is a country, all right. It belongs to the Danish Kingdom, a sovereign state, which has that, Denmark 🇩🇰, and Faroe Islands 🇫🇴.
- +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim It's a country but not a sovereign one. But under MY definition if it's not sovereign it's not a country.
But there is no consistency especially when it comes to sports.
I just know Greenland always screws people in geography games, 'cuz they list one of the world's largest countries as "Denmark (Including Greenland)"
I majored in geography and Greenland still confuses me, though not as much as Isle of Man and the Channel Islands - +1 y
@KostasKouvalis It’s a country, according to the English dictionary. Isle of Man is part of the UK, despite being part of neither of the four countries: Scotland, Wales, England, or Northern Ireland.
If Thou majorest in geography, which is more fruity: Indonesia or the Philippines? - +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim that’s true Greenland belong to Denmark.
Why do you think Trump was trying to buy it from Denmark lol - +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim The channel islands and Isle of Man have some very weird status, because they aren't colonies, they aren't constituent countries of the UK, yet they aren't sovereign either?
You mean "fruity" as in "gay", or "fruity" as in, "they have the most fruits?" I'm guessing it's probably the latter, in which case, I don't know and I don't care. - +1 y
@kelly6, Yes, exactly! THANK YOU! He wanted to buy it, because they have minerals.
- +1 y
@KostasKouvalis
Switzerland was involved in a few wars before they went netural can't recall the last time they had in years but wiki show a few wars they had so they surely have been, and being an old big county it makes sense, so really don't think they count - +1 y
@KostasKouvalis I also am confused about ye Isle. Maybe it has similar status as ye four UK countries? Also about Abkhazia and Western Sahara. That’s why I believe in no countries. By fruity, I mean has more fruits. I had no idea that fruity meant gay, but that makes sense, as fruits are high in dopamine. As G-d said in Genesis, be fruitful and multiply.
About how Trumpf wanted to buy Greenland, Alaska already has lots of oil and shit, also, nein, Genosse Trumpf!

I'm not sure, but I assume that all but a few tiny nation states have been involved with either wars of independence or wars of conquest or acts of imperialism. If they didn't participate in military actions, they participated in other ways.10 Reply

+1 yI'm sure it's possible in history, but they aren't a country anymore. That is human nature, you fight for your right to exist independently, or end up existing usefully for someone else's benefit in their group's name.

I am pretty sure, India never started an Invasion.

Wrong. I’m not sure if you’re aware of the history of the Chola dynasty, but in the 11th century they invaded countries like Sri Lanka and Maldives.
Also, King Lalitaditya of the Karakota dynasty of Kashmir invaded Turkestan (modern-day Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, southern Kyrgyzstan, and southwest Kazakhstan) via Kabul. So no, Indians have invaded other countries. - +1 y

Let’s begin with an overview: Vanuatu, Vatican City, Iceland, Greenland, and San Marino are some of the countries that have never been to war. These countries have been almost entirely peaceful throughout their histories. Most of these countries are small and so have avoided many conflicts.

Isn’t it funny how Israel is the only country who is not allowed to fight or win a war. even though it was entirely justified?
