This cannot be legislated. People in the US must have a pro American attitude. They have to stop buying foreign made goods. It must be done voluntarily. I can remember years ago buying American made stuff was what every American tried to so, If you saw a foreign car on the road it was a novelty. Home electronics were all made in the states. We have a free economy and it is the customer that is in the drivers seat. I just found an American company that makes jeans. I am going to buy from them from now on now that Carhartt makes their stuff overseas.

Depends who the million people are. If they're Chinese, it would make a difference. Otherwise, there wouldn't be much effect on a country of almost 2 billion people, with a huge economy.

This goes back to the Trump tariffs. China may be a big trading partner for us (top 3). And yes we import a lot of thier cheap s*** (thank you wal-mart😆). But we trade with a lot of countries much more than China. China %wise imports a lot more from us than us from them. For all the things Trump is wrong about.😆 He was right about this. A trade was with China hurts them a lot more than it hurts us (at least in the beginning).

becuase the people in the US is addicted to cheap stuff made by the Chinese. It’s the US who are the greeds to tell China to make low quality stuff to shop to the US. So who to blame?

Trump tried to make our trade deals with China more fair, but the left hated the idea fairness. Trump was all about an America first policy, and the left wanted an America last policy.
