He thinks I'm not spontaneous?

My boyfriend and I don't really do too many spontaneous things and I've asked him before why and he says it's cause I don't like to or if talking about how his ex was spontaneous and I say I like spontaneity, he gives me a look as if I don't...

The times he basis this off of though is when he changes plans from something we'd/I'd been looking forward to...liking spending the day together, suddenly(when his buddy calls and he doesn't tell him we're together) wants to go jam...I ended up tagging along, or he's sick, I'm driving and he gets a cal about jamming and I have to take him over, or I dunno(I'm tired...), but it's all based off of him getting a call last minute from somebody or whatever...or he says I ask questions and ruin it, because I always have to know what's going on...I ask what we're doing, but if he says we'll see, I'd be perfectly fine with it or he can just not say much if it's a surprise(he claims I ruin all surprises with small questions...he doesn't have to answer...).

I love doing random, different things or driving(if he's driving) just to drive or stopping at random roadway stops etc...but we don't get a chance, we do a lot of the same(dinner and movie...or hanging out on my family's couch...). How do I make him understand, I do like surprises and being spontaneous, just not when the plans he change to basically just involve him and his buddies and I end up a tag along...
