What? Shooting a kid when he uses a vehicle to assault police? Go on YOUTUBE and watch the video yourself. It would have been disgusting to not shoot him.

The facts are as I understand them to be that his vehicle was seen by 2 motorcycle cops driving in the bus lane. They directed him to pull over twice. He refused. When he got to a red light those cops hopped off with pistols drawn. At which point the driver started to accelerate. He did hit the cop who shot him with the fender. If you watch a video you can see that, and that the cop was in a dangerous position between the vehicle and the concrete wall.
Additionally, the kid did not have the license required to drive and if I’m not mistaken had Polish plates on the vehicle.
If you watch that video, try to imagine approximately where the cops feet were. He could have very easily had his toes run over or been pinned between the car and the concrete wall behind him.
Further more, why did the kid decide to excelerate? The cop was right there with a gun. That cop could have easily shot him in the head. Instead one shot was fired into the kids arm, which unfortunately ended up in his chest. The cop was not aiming for a kill shot, but had he been under the circumstances I don’t think it was unreasonable.
