Why are so many companies obsessed with trying to appeal to the far left?

Surely there are other markets out there.

Most companies don't. The ones who do, generally end up going that way not out of some 'agenda' or 'conspiracy', but because companies are lead by human beings. And humans are notoriously prone to biases and poor statistical analysis. Older companies made huge marketing snafus thinking they had a head start on the zeitgeist, or thought they had an accurate idea of what was popular, or sometimes yes, putting their personal believes above good market research.

It's dangerous to put governments and big businesses on these pedestals, and assume they're all run by 9th dimension chess geniuses. Conspiracies happen, but 99% of the time it's just dumb people doing dumb shit.

Dipshits are obsessed with trying to tie everything new and different to "going woke". When in fact it has fuck all to do with woke or any politics.

It's more to do with trying different marketing strategies or new paradigms. Go back to the the pre-40's companies and you'll see shit that would make your stomach drop.

Companies and cultures change over time and it's not for everyone. The purpose of a business is to make money, not change politics or norms of people.

Because they feel like by catering to that group of people , they will make more profit but it’s backfiring on them because a huge percentage of people they are catering to is people on social media which in reality is a small percentage of the world. A huge percentage of people do not agree with the current LGBTQ agendas.

Gong to an ivy league school does not automatically make you intelligent. It could just mean you were the right race or sexual orientation.

It's because of banks trying to tie funding to ESG scores. ESG is a scam, it claims to be about ethical corporate behavior and environmental sustainability but they gave Nike with its sweatshops a higher score than Tesla because they did more woke virtue signaling.
