What is the American flag after-all? You have a field of blue which is symbolic of the waters of baptism, emblematic of heaven, the home of the Christian, a symbol of faith and trust; a source of strength, justice, perseverance, and loyalty. For in America we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. When we pledge our allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, we pledge our allegiance to a republic and show our faith in the rule of law under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Among this field of blue, heaven as it were are a constellation of independent white shining stars that burn bright joined together in a union of faith. White represents innocence, purity, sincerity, and peace. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the Earth. America yells give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free and come they did to escape tyranny, fine religious freedom, and so on... The stripe representing the original 13 colonies which were first settled with pure intentions, but won freedom from British monarchs through valor, strength, and the sacrifice of Christians (Christ's blood) which was spilled upon the land. So ask yourself, if God be for us, who can be against us? If the BLM feel the American flag is a symbol of hatred, what do we hate? Do we hate tyranny, despotism, slavery, injustice, dishonor, disloyalty, the devil, hell? Sure... I think that tells you all you need to know about the BLM and what they cherish, devote themselves to, and seek to inflict on the American people.
It's a flag a flag is nothing more than what one uses it for. Symbols don't stand for anything but what one makes it for. Look at Nazi's that symbol had no meaning of evil before he used it because that's how they work.
At the moment the Us flag has been used to create a state upon native grounds after killing almost all of them, it's also been used for when they invaded the west, it's also been used in the attacking of vietnam so from an outside perspective the flag has only be used for bloodshed.
But then so has many other flags. But I also I just hate flags and tribalism so to me it makes little difference.
If one think it's not symbol of bloodshed though then I would ask have they ever learnt all the wars they caused and were part of and how their country even came to be?
It’s not a symbol of hatred, but realistically we are hated by many countries. We are seen as a threat to many because of the power and influence we have, and our strength. They don’t agree with our ideas or our beliefs, and our system of government.

Leftist activist organizations try to mobilize hatred as a tool to unify their base. Anyone who has eyes should see that the left THRIVES on hatred and that is all you need to know to reject such leftist ideas.
I don't think the American flag is a symbol of hate. If anything it's a symbol of hope, if you look at what American history is compared to most other countries in the world.
The US went from being a slave state to the civil rights movement over the course of a little more than a century. The civil rights generation then achieved more in its life time than most societies could in multiple. And now days even with the reactionary progressive ideologies pushing people apart, there's a growing number of young people who are rejecting arbitrary political divisions. The same ones who reject both extremes and instead want to put their faith in humanity rather than pursue puritanical behavior.
The flag to me is a symbol of the fact a society can change for the better, and that the past isn't a chain that damns us to being evil in perpetuity.
Funny; I feel "the person displaying this isn't safe to be around" about the BLM logo. I've seen the aftermath of the Chicago riots, where desperate business owners put out signs saying "black owned, don't smash", and got everything broken anyway. I've seen very legitimate questions of police violence and even militarization dismissed by claiming they're about racism, rather than violence. I had a former marine who fought in Iraq tell me that a police officer walking past us was "so heavily armed, it made [him] uncomfortable".
My ancestors came to this country, before it WAS a country, as slaves. Far more recently, the government came after my father (and almost my brother) with the same, if more limited, intention. And yet I fear them less than I do this passel of domestic terrorists. Would that they had the self-awareness to wonder why that might be.
When I see a flag on someone's house now, 90% of the time they're maga-nuts, and 100% of the time they're likely to know little or nothing about the real history of the USA. That being the case, it's unfortunately true that it's too often a sign that says "Yes, I'm a cult member. Hatred, bigotry and lies, are ok with me. I'm going to support a crazy dictator who makes me feel good about being stupid!!"
I'm not feeling real great about the laws being passed now by a minority of fascists, nor about a lot of how we got here. Right now, flag waving just makes me cringe.
We have exactly same issues with the Australia flag , with one minority group , just on a smaller scale. Look , I don't love everything about the USA , but the flag is a symbol of true freedom , enterprise..
Like the song New York New York says , what USA does well , it does extremely well , look at some of the companies created in EVERY era , thats free enterprise..
It is not a symbol of hatred. It's a symbol of freedom. Unfortunately there were some folks between 1776 and the end of slavery that didn't understand black folks were human. The other folks did and fought for freedom until a war was won that ended it.
If anything this flag is a representation of what should be. We aren't perfect by any means but the flag represents everyone and we need to continue to support this ideology and vote out anyone who suggests otherwise.

While the US has done some terrible things, I don't think they are the core of what the country means and certainly not what it should mean
