Going to eat at the restaurant my ex still works at?

We dated a few years. And were on and off again throughout the past year.The last time we were dating he broke it off, but then a few months later called me and wanted to try again. I'm happy with my new boyfriend I told him and he was upset. We are still fb friends and he always is liking my pictures. So I don't think he's over it still. I love the restaurant he works at and I want to go so bad. Its the only fondue place around. I just don't want him to think I'm trying to drop in on him or make him jealous if me and my new boyfriend go. I don't want to upset him. Not to mention if he's mad about the break up what he might do to our food. I thought about maybe letting him know somehow. Just to tell him I don't mean anything by going so it's not a shock when he sees me. Shld I even go? Any input is appreciated.

i texted him when I would be there. he said he would make sure not to be there, but I should have fun. everyone recognized me and asked how I was. there was no drama and my boyfriend was fine :)

if he can't get over you then that's his problem but still be nice and respectful of the break up and don't go.

same situation with me and my ex and we've been broken up for almost 2 years but because we dated for 2 years, were on and off for another year and haven't talked since she got a new boyfriend a year ago.. I think your ready to be adult about it. And that would be awesome if you guys could be mature about it. I kinda think if he is trying to contact you and your ready to be mature and go on a date with you new boyfriend. Maybe you should just try and talk to him and settle it all. And if he is douchy about it then you'll know that you shouldn't go.

I think that it's a bad idea. Your going to be uncomfortable & your new guy may sense it. Are you really going to enjoy you fondue? I think you're putting everyone on edge & for what?

Just go an have a good time. Don't over dress, don't be too loud or in your face, don't hang on him, etc. It sounds like a nobrainer, but you just have to be a bit more conscious of being a bit more casual.

Hold hands, be into each other, talk, etc. The more laid back and casual you are, the less he has to get worked up about. Plus, if you are just laid back about the whole thing, it will seem less like you are trying to show off.

I don't understand why you would let your ex dictate which places you can or cannot go to. You love the restaurant, you have made it perfectly clear to him that you're happy with your new boyfriend, so you should definitely go.

We are both mature about it. I don't see how this makes me a "bad person". I made sure I wouldn't cause any drama and I went. It's over now and we both came out of the situation fine. We were with each other a while and we have respect for each other.
