Ex shows up to my job as a customer, should I question it?

We didn’t date very long. We left off on bad terms, a big argument then radio silence. it’s been a couple months since then. Recently he came to my job to switch phone services. There are 3 other stores in the area but he came to mine. He came 3 times to buy things which I am totally okay with but I was skeptical still. Recently he came and I assisted him. He left and nothing happened but a couple days later he texted me asking me a question about the item he bought. First time we talked since the argument. I helped him and that was it. Nothing else. I’m just curious to know your opinion on this.

Yea, if he didn't want to see you, he would have gone to a different location. He came to see you. As an excuse to get back in contact. It's a little... weird though. If he wants to mend things, he should just try and talk to you. But he didn't come in any of those times without you being the main driver for his visit. Your suspicions are correct.

So you're an ex at one of 3 stores he could go to. How do you know he doesn't have 2 exes at each of the other stores? You don't. Your store is just the path of least resistance. Do you have another chick that works with you at your store? He probably wants her number... not going to hook him up?

His initial visits could have been a way to see you in person, gauge your reaction, and subtly re-enter your orbit without confrontation.
