Find a good candidate who can hold her own on the debate stage and actually connect with the people, and it could easily happen.

Right now, the only two in the running are Nikki Haley (who is the single most warhawkish and corporatist candidate in the entire primary right now and completely out of touch with her own voting base), and Mary Anne Williamson, who markets herself as a wacky hippy who believes in energy crystals.

A woman couldn't possibly do any worse than some of these idiots that have been elected. Washington is a huge cluster of a mess right now. There are females out there that are more than qualified, but you get these idiots that think they know everything that is sexist, arrogant bigots.

I cannot wait until people start killing each other over groceries. If people that are actually qualified started getting elected, rather than idiots that throw around a bunch of money and buy the election, then I would have faith back in the nation. It's nothing but a "Who's dick is bigger" contest, and all both parties do anymore is bash each other, rather than tackle serious issues.

But yeah, a female who is qualified and could very well be capable of running, if it weren't for people letting their own egos and unwanted opinions get in the way.

Women candidates that could win are Tulsi Gabbard or Condoleezza Rice.
