Anonymous(18-24)2 moI’ve seen women end up holding high positions of power, but it becomes more rare when countries hold firm and build on rigid barriers to keep women down and out of politics.
There is a clear gender apartheid state happening in Iran.
It is systematically built to limit women’s freedoms, silence their voices and keep them out of politics to continue the sexist broken system.
Until major regime change occurs, Iran will continually actively suppressing women’s rights and women’s voices therefore it will be unlikely for the foreseeable future that women don’t hold the highest power in Iran.
And most likely we removed one leader, so they can implement a leader who will be beneficial to Israel. Won’t matter woman or man at that point, they aren’t for women’s rights or making things better. It will be for Israel.
10 ReplyThey Muslims so it's unlikely but Iran might need a Female Leader to become Peaceful, there is a Trope called Men Use Violence, Women Use Communication, you can Google it.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/8_AiSeYsDeA20 Reply11.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Not while clerics or conservative remain in power I the nation. If one is, she'd be dead within a year because Islamic terrorists will not abide a woman in charge of men.
40 Reply660 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think this would be unlikely. No matter what happens Iran remains a very male dominated society in my opinion.

Asker2 moI think it’s time for a woman leader
3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Unlikely. Countries in this region aren't especially women friendly.
We had a ruling Queen already in medieval, we had several female Prime Ministers (is higher than President in my country). But this won't work with societies which consider women as inferior and Iran is such one due 1400 years of Islamic brainwash.00 Reply
2 moGood question! Fuck... out of all the countries I never wanted to see a woman in charge of... you picked one where I would.
On a side note... once those Burkas came off... I think I have a new fetish.
00 Reply831 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. You’re talking about a place that’s never been a democracy (not a real one at least)
Which means before talking winning elections they would need to hold elections
I would say a woman is as likely to win presidency in Iran as it is in the US
Which is a very slim chance00 Reply3.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I wish, would help a lot. Though maybe not, they do say no one hates women more than women. So if one stepped up and she was a pick me, who favored misogyny the problems wouldn't change.
You get a progressive woman in charge and things would change a lot.00 Reply- 323 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
2 moNot likely. They live in a society where women don't have any basic rights whatsoever. You don't even get to choose who you get to marry, for goodness sake.
10 Reply 1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think that would depend on the rules and if the constitution of that country permits a woman to become president or not.
00 ReplyNo because there's too many people in Iran that are Muslim and that would just continue the Divide when you want the country to unite. That is just the fact of the culture, why do you think they want their King back

2 moIn its current state and with this current regime, highly unlikely. If one did, she would likely be a brainwashed puppet and/or operating under duress/threat.
01 Reply- 2 mo
Specifically, that duress and threat coming from their own government

2 moThat would be a huge change in ideology. Possible? Maybe, but highly unlikely.
10 Reply 5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. About as much chance as the Catholic Church electing a female Pope.
10 ReplyNo, I believe that won’t change even by the year 2070.
00 ReplySeems very unlikely, but Pakistan had one so never say never.

2 moNo.
Ever? Maybe in many, many years. Not now though.
00 Reply 12.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yeah. She has a better chance than a women becoming president of the United states.
00 Reply26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, Iran would not accept a female president.
10 Reply11.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, of course not. That's completely contrary to what they perceive as women's role.
10 ReplyIn the current Regime, impossible. Under a new Regime, possible, but closer to impossible. I don’t think, in our lifetime, we will ever see a woman leader in a Muslim country.

2 moMuslims? Recognize women as equals, yet alone, superior? hardly.
00 Reply 3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Really doubt it. Since women seem to be second class citizens in their religion.
00 Reply8.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If i1t becomes as it was prior to the regime it definitely is possible.
