Do You Wonder 🤔 If You Have Any Microplastics In Your Body And Do You Think We Should Be Tested For Them If We Want To Know How Many?

I've been drinking water in 16 oz. bottles for the past 10 years; and before that I drank my water from our water cooler which came from the big plastic bottles we had delivered.
I'm just wondering if they are in me and what they are doing to my body.

I would like to know the amount of Microplastics my body has and is there a way to get rid of as many as possible?

Everybody has them. They are in food, water and air. All we can do is minimize the amount we intake. Knowing how much we have in our bodies is pointless. It is helpful to know how to eliminate them, though.

The human body has an innate ability to detoxify harmful substances, primarily through the liver and kidneys, but the stress caused by modern environmental toxins like microplastics requires additional support. Enhancing detoxification can be achieved by incorporating specific nutrients, compounds, and lifestyle interventions.

The liver is the body’s primary detox organ, responsible for processing and eliminating toxins. To support liver health and its ability to detoxify plastics, consider these strategies:

And I'm sure that you have microwave something you have sit through a straw they say that each one of us have probably as much as a credit card of plastic or more the best thing to do is get rid of all your plastic cups your plastic bowls that you have your leftover in anything plastic it's better to use glass if you have it straws you can get a stainless steel straw a copper or a silver straw would be better if you could afford it same with a cup a copper cup is one of the best things you could drink from the same with silver

The only time I drink any water in a bottle as if I am dying of thirst but I have a filter system that I have in my refrigerator that I put water into it and it filters it

Depending on where you live and when your house was built old homes used to have copper lines the best then they went to galvanize the worst because it contains rust and other chemicals and then they went to PVC and then they went to shark bite and the best way to get our water is through copper lines PVC and SharkBite are both plastic galvanizes metal that creates a rust that you drink if you drink your tap water and none of them are good for you

I live in a huge apartment building that was built in the 80's.
I know that the county that I live in the water has cadmium in it. We were warned about this more than a decade ago so I never drink from the tap.

I just can't seem to win for losing when it comes to the water I drink. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We have almost certainly traces of microplastic in us but it's probably not from drinking from water bottles but from what we eat. Like a lot of fish has microplastic and if we eat them we get it of course too. You can also get them from cosmetics and other things.

it's not only microplastics but so many other things as well, and not really that much we can do about it

the list of "secret ingredients" that are not disclosed and avoid regulation are in the hundreds and even thousands...

so, literally... "who knows" what else we're ingesting, every day...

Its just there nothing you can do about it, we cover everything in plastic. Im actually more worried about the chemicals and hormones we ingest daily.

Have you noticed that there are so many young boys that have developed moobs, that's wasn't a thing before 2000. Thats hormones and chemicals in the fluid they drink and food they eat. You obviously notice the amount of 12 year old girls developing early. My step daughter is 14 and she's a GG cup.

I probably do and I'm not sure what benefit "knowing exactly how much" would have. Cause I'm not sure if it can even be known what effect it currently has.

The reason I would want to know is because maybe they'll have something in our future to get some of the load of them in our bodies if that's possible.

i mean maybe. All I know is, is that I want as little as possible of that in my body. So I try to have my food have as little contact with plastic as possible. I don't juse plastic boxes in the fridge, no plastic cutlery or pots and no plastic bottles. Some plastic can't be avoided cause stuff is only sold in plastic but yeah. That's all I can do anyway so I don't see the point of knowing of how much is inside me. I can't do shit about it anyway.

We all have them in our bodies. I use Yeti’s now with some plastic bottles. But I don’t drink out of plastic bottles that have been left in a hot car.

You're so right about not drinking from plastic bottles that are left in a hot car.
I learned that when the plastic bottles get hot, that it heats up the plastic, which in turn leaches the chemicals from the hot plastic into whatever is inside the plastic bottles.
I learned this when Sheryl Crow got breast cancer and she was asked what she is going to do differently to try to prevent it from coming back. She said that she's not going to drink anything from a plastic bottle that's been sitting in her car anymore.

I met her drummer when they were touring in Istanbul Turkey. He and I were the only ones at a restaurant sitting outside but under a roof. it was great food, great service and atmosphere. We just struck up a conversation from our tables. He said Sheryl Crow was the hardest working person he ever worked with so every time I hear her songs or videos I think of that statement.
