There's a lot of outdated ones but there's a lot of new ones too that just are so freaking silly I don't understand them I don't get it

Whether you're going to date somebody whether your friends with somebody whether you're in a relationship with somebody if you see that they need help help them if you ask somebody to go out to dinner with you because you like them because they're your friend because they're your girlfriend or your wife what is so hard about paying the bill why does that have to be so difficult between anybody if I ask somebody out I'm going to pay for it if they asked me out I'm going to pay for it

If I'm in a relationship of any sort in the person lives with me that's the only title I want them to have lives with me lol they don't have to clean the house they don't have to do the dishes they don't need any other titles if they believe in something they don't need to have a title I don't care I don't want to hear it about the left wing the right way that's Thanksgiving talk

If there's a mess in the house and you're there pick it up I mean it's nobody's job except for the person that did it but things happen I don't mind picking up any mess out of my back and then I don't mind mowing the lawn I like keeping things simple

If a woman wants a man's job go for it you don't have to open your mouth just prove that you can do it show everybody you can do it and I will back your play 100% you do deserve as much money as guys do but don't try to act like a guy because it's not going to get you anywhere look at the women that have gone up in this world it's because they do their job they keep their mouth shut and they prove to their higher-ups that they're loyal they can do the job and they deserve exactly what a man gets they don't get on the radio they don't get in other people's faces we deserve this we deserve that no they did it on their own with Grace with dignity with a brain

If you have children and you see that child struggling with something I don't care if you're the man or the woman help that child teach that child if the kid has a dirty diaper change the freaking diaper how would you like to sit in it that long

Married couple if you get home before the other one start dinner you don't have to sit your fat ass on the couch and watch TV until your spouse gets home to let them do it
Yes I'm talking about guys they're not a f****** cook learn how to run bath water for your kid for your spouse or your girlfriend give her a break

As soon as I said that I could hear some guy say what about me what about us run your own f****** bath water put your own bubbles in it

That's the least you could do if you can't please her in bed if you're only thinking of yourself

People are walking away from relationships because they're too hard is what they say they're not too hard it's just everybody's too lazy everybody's too selfish

I think I'm just old school
If I go out any place with a girl and I like that girl why would I make her pay anything I'm trying to tell her I like her and that I'm capable of taking care of her

For all the guys that complain and b**** and moan about they want the girl to pay their half

Don't go out with a girl if you can't afford it it's that simple that way you don't have to b**** and loan

If you have to argue about anything to do with common sense or manual labor are doing the right thing to help your partner to help your friend to help your spouse out don't hang around with them stay at home where you belong that way you don't have to b**** in moan

I've been on my own for lots of years and people nowadays embarrass me LOL I should say l m a o totally embarrass me over the littlest things

So for me I took the long way the long answer again it
And it probably has nothing to do with your question how about just common sense how about that that's about the only answer I can come up with

The idea that men are superior to women in all things. It leads to a lot of disrespect toward women and makes some men feel emasculated when they are bested by a woman.

Agreed. This also causes massive insecurity and men will lash out and become violent sometimes if they feel "disrespected" by someone they view as beneath them.

Carrying father's surname. Person is said to be the extended bloodline of father not mother in the patriarchal society.
Mothers have equally even contribution as of fathers in the genetic production of an individual. Yet no-one ever says they are carrying the mother's surname or family name.

My mom hyphenated. So she still has her last name. Just with my dads last name, hyphenated. I don't hyphenate, though. I don't want kids, even though I'm an only child. My dads last name, will likely die, with me

U r your mother's son and you don't have her last name. That is the whole point here. Your mother died change her surname that's different but she is carrying her father's name and your are carrying your father's name. Regardless the bloodline ends or not.

With the father’s surname intact, people can trace back hundreds of years. Breaking that chain is not a great idea. Anyway, a family should have one last name and there is no reason to change it now other than it pisses off ultra feminists.

The mother passes on mitochondrial dna which doesn’t allow for the tracking. It’s beyond me but here is an article of the basics. If you wanted to see which country or perhaps even city your ancestors come from you would need your father or brother to take the test. Most mothers simply make the decision to use the fathers as there is no real need to change the tradition and one spouse has to change their name for one family name. Hers has been changed through the millennium anyway it doesn’t carry the same meaning. I know what city my ancestors are from and I know the original spelling of the name. Now my children know as well, even my daughter.

Mitrochondrial dna is only in females therefore allows tracking female descendants.
Y-chromosome dna is only found in men so it allows tracking of make defendants.

So the questions remains the same why can't anyone carry mother's surname.
Ofc history as witnessed male supremacy. But why not is my question?

Maternal grandmother, maternal great grand mother, maternal great great grand mother... fore mothers!..

Ofc this gonna take time as we all know through history.

      Only possible in matriarchal society.

I'm not some psedu feminist. Equality to all seems more fair but it's just an observation.

The Mitochondrial doesn’t carry the information needed, it’s not a exact copy like Y DNA. Add in centuries of using the same last name and it is a good way to trace lineage.

father’s names being the only ones passed down, as someone else said. women being expected to cater to men. unnecessarily gendered words (“girly drinks”, “be a man”, etc.). men being expected to not cry.

Just generally being OK with being fucked by the government. It's kinda a new thing if you really think about it but pay has gone up 20% in the amount of time the cost of living went up over 300% why are we just... Cool with that?

And what about what's being taught in schools right now. I think we all pretty much understand it's all propaganda at this point. I mean, they come out of school knowing more about CNN talking points than about math, or a trade or writing or history or of course, finances.

You know people used to just know what the difference between centralized and decentralized banking? It was common knowledge.

We'd all fight against eachother about things we'd realize most people actually see fairly eye to eye on if you stopped to get to know someone and open your heart to them before saying, "wait a minute, why can't I afford anything? Why is everything unfair? Why do i constantly feel like I'm at a job?"

Also, why is asking questions not a thing anymore? Does everyone think they know everything or are wale as a society so afraid of any kind of failure, questions are taboo now?

You want a properly old one? Let's stop arguing about things that make us different. Because the only people who win when the common people act this way, are the politicians and super rich. Seriously, every time you don't have a conversation with somebody about a disagreement or decide to be petty about one and oust them. You're not taking some ritgious high-road, you're putting money into the pockets of the same people who stopped the keystone pipeline so oil could continue to be shipped right across the great reef.

“Be respectful to your elders” it is insinuating that no matter how many times an older person has disrespected or talked down to me, I still have to be respectful because I am the inferior one since I’m younger

Book banning. For one it just brings more attention to the books and the people who want to read it will just buy it themselves anyway. And also, it's just ridiculous to teach children you can make the bad stuff go away by pretending it doesn't exist.

Slut shaming. Sex is sex, it's an expression of love and affection. It does NOT matter how many people that may entail. One should not be shamed for expressing love, or even for simply enjoying themselves.

@ButthurtGAGpeople1 Child support I get if the parent can't be there (working overseas etc), but custody split 50/50 (like the creation of that child was) makes child support irrelevant. You pay when he/she's with you, I do with me, we split soccer/piano/shequan/ballet lessons down the middle.

      Or they're just extra careful

People who have "insurance" tend to be less careful

Alimony is reasonably if one partner have up their career to support the other in some way, or have you substantial resources to invest in there others career. Example: on partner works while the other and law school or medical school. The partner that paid the tuition is reasonably entitled to some part of the other's future earnings. Or a partner who stops working to raise the children, reducing their future market wages.

@slatyb Then those choices should be decided ahead of time, negotiated from positions of amicability, not decided arbitrarily by a court. "I put you through law school you give me 5% of your gross for life"... that's an easy contract. Same as wills and prenups, living wills, trusts, countless other examples. Ounce of prevention, and whatnot.

But people don't do that. If there are considerable joint assets then the court can provide equity through asset division. They will award alimony when it's the only way to provide all equitable figure for both partners.

@slatyb "when it's the only way to provide"... no they award it because men just get f'ed

People don't wear their seatbelts they die in a crash. Don't put a seat belt on your assets, THEY die in a crash.

One of many reasons I would never have considerable joint assets not contained within a business enterprise and governed by the articles of incorporation or other similar document

Not sure, as I currently do not give much notice to what society expects.

It's just a nice thing to do. Has nothing to do with women or men. I hold it open, if they're within a foot or so of me. If they're still at their car, I won't

Opening the door for everyone should be common courtesy. I open the door and hold the door open for men. Having manners is important
