for the vast majority yes. inflation has risen far faster than wages which have been relatively stagnant.

Yes. For most people. Variety of factors. Labor is not lucrative anymore. It’s all about service. What can you do for someone in exchange for money. Like web design, engineering, etc. And unfortunately we have a brain drain in this country.

Or not drainage necessarily, but lack of will to educate ourselves.

They are based on your skill level.
No skills needed and all you have to do is show up on time, those do not pay as well as a job that requires you to have job skills, like the skilled trades.

They are for some people. The big problem is that make people are unable to obtain the basics:: housing and medical care.

Mainly because inflation is so bad that there is no way they can catch up.

Nah, people start dying when we get to Zimbabwe, Venezuela or Weimar Republic type inflation where you will never be able to afford anything no matter what you do.
