A bet is a bet. You take your chances and take your lumps. Maybe you can do a MyTake about what it was like to have "the operation"?
Well, there will be surgery, but I'll have to take hormones, which will give me breasts and a woman's body.
cool. I look forward to reading all about it. I did a MyTake about a surgery I had,
When you gotta go... ↗
Wow I just read your Mytakes , very impressive. Okay, I'll tell you about my operation.
Today I really regret having made this stupid bet, but I was sure to win. I don't want to become a transgender woman, but a bet is a bet, and I always respect what I say. And as I want to keep my friendship with the girl I made the bet with, I'm going to do it, but against my will.
I'll write to you when my operation is over.
@exitseven When he gets a vagina, he'll definitely regret making that bet. 😂😂
@exitseven Haha, exactly. He'll only have his eyes to cry. But too bad for him, he shouldn't have made a bet. Now he's obliged to keep his word,
@exitseven Hi, I'm the guy who asked the question and lost. I had surgery two months ago. I'm a woman now.
@exitseven
Yes, I cried so much because I didn't want to be a woman, but I had no choice. As you said.
" You take your chances and take your lumps. "
That's literally the dumbest thing I ever heard. But if you're asking should you have your genitalia mutilated, yes you should.
Agree. Trolling at its dumbest.
Being transgender is not a joke. It's also something permanent. So I hope you're not serious.

Was surgery discussed? Or can you just call yourself a woman for a day?
No , just hormones
Good annecdote. But unfortunately for me I will have to take hormones until my body transforms into a woman's body.
The woman I made the bet with, if she had lost, would have been obliged to become my maid, i. e. she would have had to do my housework, my shopping, eat, wash my clothes etc. And this for an indefinite period. And this for an indefinite period.
Yes, it was a stupid bet. Honestly, I made the bet because I was sure I'd win against her. Unfortunately for me that's not the case. I don't want to be a transgender woman, but a bet is a bet and I want to keep my friendship with this girl.
So normally from Monday I'll be able to start the hormones.
You should know that in my country you don't need a psychologist's opinion to take hormones.
Yes, I can go to either a general practitioner or an endocrinologist. But in any case, doctors don't have the right to refuse to give hormones, it's illegal.
Only for vaginoplasty (an operation that transforms male sex into female sex) is it necessary to have several sessions with a psychologist over a 2-year period.
No, but in my country being Transgender has been depsychiatrized. So you can have access to hormones without a psychiatrist's opinion. But many doctors refuse to give hormones until there's a psychiatrist's opinion, but they're illegal.
Nice pretend word. It may get into the dictionary this year!
Some medicinal expert has to evaluate and take responsibility for your prescriptions. So you can’t just walk into a family physician, say, and demand hormone treatments, I mean, if it works you found the dumbest doctor out there. And give me his number.
All Doctors are trained to spot addicts or people with an agenda. If he’s smart he’d probably give you a reference to a psychiatrist. Regardless if you need one to get the hormones.
But again, it takes a very long time for the hormones to start working. It’s not like you’ll have titties by morning.
No, you really don't know the subject. I told you that most doctors require an opinion from a psychiatrist but this requirement of the doctor is illegal since it was depsychiatrized. Then you can agree to follow the psychiatrist's advice but you are not obliged to do so.
The only time a psychiatrist's opinion is mandatory is when the person wants to go through with the operation. In that case, you must be followed by a psychiatrist for 2 years.
As for hormones, well, that depends on how your body reacts. If your body assimilates the hormones well, it may take a few months for the effects to be felt.
You can use the fake word “depsychiatrized“ all you want. I don’t know what country you live in, but if it’s national medicinal agency has any ethics, a doctor doesn’t have to do anything you say. It’s about health and he would be held accountable if your little bet hit the news after you “became a woman”…
In fact I would like you to try it and see what the doc tells you.
When a child doesn't understand a word, he thinks it's wrong.
A doctor doesn't have the right to demand a shrink's attestation before giving hormones, but he can refuse to give them to his patient, do you understand the nuance? What's illegal is not the doctor's refusal, but his demand for a shrink's attestation.
In any case, there are doctors who agree to give hormones without a shrink's attestation.
And what I’ve said multiple times that you can’t get through your skull, is even if the doctor doesn’t need a shrink…he can still not give you what you want. Because it’s their name on the prescription. So unless they’re Willy nilly with pills, which after fetynal and opiate disasters…no, then you ain’t gettin anything.
But again you somehow type wonderful English yet talk about your depsychiatrized country. I’ll just wait for an update tomorrow. :)
Even with the authorization of a psychiatrist, the name of the doctor is displayed. The doctor who gives hormones without a psychiatrist's prescription risks nothing legally, as this certificate is no longer compulsory.
Oh, excuse me for knowing a little vocabulary. You should try it, it will allow you to develop deeper thoughts than a 10 year old child.
In any case, it doesn't change the fact that psychotherapy is not compulsory in my country and that, consequently, the associations give a list of doctors who give hormones without a psychiatrist's certificate.
That word doesn’t exist. And you sound anti-trans. But please go to the doc and try to get hormone treatments.
Doctors are always under threat from lawsuits of investigations from whatever agency regulates them. In the US each state has a medical board which can take away their license.
I don't know how it works in the US. I'm not American. But in my country I can get hormones without a prescription from a psychiatrist. So yes, I can find a doctor who gives me access to hormones without this certificate, and the doctor risks nothing legally, as long as this certificate is no longer required by law.
The trans associations provide a list of doctors who accept this.
I went to see an association that gave me a doctor who accepts without a psychiatric certificate. I was able to make an appointment. But before he gives me the hormones, I have to have blood tests and other tests, and then I'll have check-ups several times a month.
technically you honor your bet just by saying you're a girl as they claim that's the only req
All you have to do is identify as a woman, and you’re a woman. Regardless of what your genitals are.
Do you mean a complete transgender woman with surgery?
No , just hormones
What a ridiculous question.
It's a damn bet. Pay up
I am confident in my self
Sooo shallow
