Gun owners too coward to fight fair and they don't want guns banned cuz they know they're nothing without their gun 🥲
910 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I totally agree but this website is brainwashed af. It doesn't matter what you say they'll just repeat their gospel. It's funny cause from any civilized country they just look like absolute clowns with their arguments but they will never see it because they're stuck in their bubble. I could have taken my gun home from the military if I wanted to but I didn't because I will never need it. It's a stupid outdated idea that guys should have the gun at home so they can defend the country instantly. I'm just grateful that I live in a sane country.
A guy I used to go to school with spent time in america and one day we were walking in the city and there was some bang from a car or something and he instantly ducked and ran/jumped to this building exit and me and this other guy were just standing on the sidewalk and I said what are you doing? And he was like gunshot and I just laughed that's how safe I felt and still do.
But they just gotta lie or make comparisons that don't work and shit cause the outcome is set in stone. So they just gotta make the "facts" work no matter what.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNope. I have guns because I like them. My guns have not shot a single person, they’re good, they stay in their safe where they’re supposed to stay. They never stray out on their own. I like going out to shoot them on my land w my brothers. I spent 10 years in the military. If I was a chicken shit I would have never joined the military to begin w, especially the infantry. If I was a chicken shit I wouldn’t have worked in a prison for 8 years. Many of us just like them because we live to shoot, whether it’s target shooting or hunting, not because we want to go out killing people or cause we’re scared. As much as you’d like to think banning guns is going to solve a lot of mass shootings, it won’t. Criminals don’t come at you to fight fair. I worked on the border for about a year, between Arizona and Mexico. You know how many guns we found coming in? As well as drugs? A lot of drugs are illegal as hell but banning them certainly didn’t stop people from acquiring them and dying from them.

Let's hope this stays civil.
I disagree. You don't need guns to be a coward.
If I decide to beat up someone, and bring four people with me to hold down my victim, so he or she couldn't fight back. You can't tell me that killing this person in cold blood wouldn't be cowardly. That person could have had a chance to live, but that possibility is being completely gone with the extra people I decided to take with me for this job. And five against four is just overkill.
If you had a gun there, you might have stood a chance. It's not about honor in street fights. It's about survival.

+1 yI was born and lived in a nation where guns were illegal and forbidden to have for ALL regular citizens and crime there was Horrifically high. Robberies, rapes, murders etc... was off the scale. Now I live in Florida, where guns are Super easily obtainable by anyone and everyone and A LOT of regular people are carrying them and having them in their cars and houses and crime here is super, SUPER low (even though fake stream media portraying it otherwise. I live here I know exactly what I'm talking about). So, me experiencing both worlds, I would choose to live in a nation where there are way too many legally owned guns over a nation where guns are 100% prohibited in a Heart beat, it wouldn't even be a choose for me, it would be a sensible and logical decision.
90 Reply449 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Guns aren’t the problem , it’s the people using the gun making the problem , I am not a big fan of guns , but I have guns mainly for my personal protection , mainly for my line of work. I hope I never have to pull my gun on anyone but knowing I have it by my side to protect myself is better than not having it to protect myself. Even if they banned guns , Bad people will still have guns , so banning them is not going to do any justice it will just make it easier for bad people to rob and murder innocent people. If a cray motherfucker breaks into my home looking to steal and harm me or my family , I am going to feel safer having my gun for personal protection
10 Reply5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. But it's oh so brave to petition the government to use guns to disarm honest citizens.
It's oh so brave to call armed police when you are threatened.
It's oh so brave to call people cowards from the safety of your electronic device while you cower in your room for fear of guns.
People like you are the trembling cowards, and hypocrites, to boot.41 Reply897 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No because first of all no ones wants to "fight fair" unless they are in a ring. Like if I robbed you one thing I for sure wouldn´t do is fight fair. But instead would want to be more powerful than you.
To me the problem isn´t guns because especially when you live in the countryside and not in a big city it will take time until the police comes.
I don´t think guns are the problem the problem is that many pro-gun people don´t want restrictions on who gets to have a gun. If insane people get to have guns, too problems develop.00 Reply12K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I believe that those who want guns banned are not aware of the overwhelming statistics where guns used in self-defense have protected individuals, their families and property. And even as they are surrounded by and are sympathetic to "Wokism" and the violent attitudes of it's proponents have toward ordinary citizens, they are clueless as to why the Second Amendment actually exists: To protect citizens from tyranny.
You, @astrophelle should read up on the facts behind guns in the USA and not rest your thinking on the few "gun violence" related deaths, almost all caused by people who don't look like you for your view. The future of the USA is in the hands of people in your generation and you are in the process of pissing it away.

Basic to the debates on gun control is the fact that most violent crime is committed by repeat offenders. Dealing with recidivism is key to solving violence.
71% of gunshot victims had previous arrest records.
64% had been convicted of a crime.
Victims had an average of 11 prior arrests. 1, 2
63% of victims had criminal histories and 73% of that group knew their assailant (twice as often as victims without criminal histories). 3
74% of homicides during the commission of a felony involve guns. 4
Most gun violence is between criminals. This should be the public policy focus.

I place the same faith on Time Magazine that I place in the Koran and Book of Mormon. Zero. It's all about the narrative, Mine is: if you or anyone attempts to deny me my rights by force, I will use deadly force to repel you, even if you wear a tin badge. You lefties have gone too far and the Climate is Changing now, especially with all these Banana Republic indictments. The game is about to change and that clicking sound you hear is gun safes unlocking and magazines loading.
1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I completely disagree with you having lived through an armed home invasion. Two guys kicked our front door in, one had a pistol, we had a shotgun and held off the situation. Without that firearm I would most likely not be typing this as I'd be dead.
I also have been a professional fighter and can hold my own. But against a weapon hands fail every time. Sorry but the myth of a well trained fighter being able to successfully fight an armed opponent is simply not real. Yes there is training for it, yes it is theoretically possible, but an unarmed person trying to subdue an armed attacker is virtually impossible. Further if you have two or more armed opponents the defender is dead. And when I mean arms, I am not just talking about firearms, I am also talking bladed weapons. The defender dies.00 Reply- 792 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

I think some of them fear everything and everyone and this makes them feel safer.
Others live in rural areas and might really hunt or need it for protection from wildlife that could hurt them.
Some might just genuinely enjoy it like a sport. Going to ranges etc.
I also think there are some that are just crazy and want to hurt people.
There's also other reasons I can't think of I'm sure. Some valid some invalid some crazy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! I just commented about exactly the same thing. Those people who never lived, not visited, but actually LIVED in a nation where it is illegal to have guns, have no right at all to tell people who legally own weapons to get rid of them, or call them names.

Exactly, they believe that all cops want to play hero and the ugly truth is that they don't, a lot of them treat their job like people treat any other job, they can half ass it if they want too and if they have family of their own, they do their job to feed their family So they won't play hero and someone can end up losing their life for simply relying on them completely with their lives, most cops arrive when the damage is done, I can guarantee this user would grab a gun if it was at her reach and she was about to get raped for example, I know she would pull the trigger, unless maybe I am wrong and she's dumb enough to reach out for her phone to see if maybe cops will get to her on time.

Apes don’t but they are dumb animals who fan easily be killed and even wiped out completely. Intelligence is the new muscle.

More to the point, how can you call them cowards when they carry guns so that people like YOU don't have to?

+1 yI don’t believe so, and the joke’s on you because I don’t even own a gun.
But banning them? I mean come on. Seriously?
What’ll that even really accomplish?
Pissing off a bunch of people that already own guns?
Failing to actually reduce violent crime?
Surprise surprise Honduras and El Salvador.
But for real though, you really think banning guns is actually going to solve all our problems?
How about just something more sensible like instituting stricter requirements for new gun owners?
00 Reply 1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Haha, no. You are living in a fairy tale where you are the hero. You the righteous savior, here to save the downtrodden from the evils of the gun-bearing right.
To bad reality disagrees with your fantasy. It would be a shame if you sacrificed what is real so you can play the glorious hero in your imagination.20 Reply- 8.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yAbsolutely not! Gun haters are just too brainwashed by government into thinking guns are bad so that, when we no longer have any, they can take over and do whatever the fuck they want to us because we no longer have any means to stop them!!
I'm sure Sharon Tate and her friends would've loved to have had a gun on hand when the Manson family broke into their house and killed them all! Or, would you prefer that she noogie the Manson's all to death?20 Reply
+1 yNope. People who take responsibility for themselves, responsibility for their families’ safety, and understand that the basic unit of human liberty is an armed individual are definitely not cowards. Armed self defense is a natural human right. Those who wish to curtail it so they can hide behind a government they believe will protect them probably have some fear issues they need to work out. …and certainly will learn about fear the day they need to protect their family.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yreally bad take. fight fair? So you think a 95 pound woman should have to "fight fair" against a fully grown man if he wants to rape her whenever he gets the urge? Do you think people should have to "fight fair" when they didn't ask for a fight in the first place, but some piece of shit or multiple pieces of shit want to rob them, rape them, kill them? You can't be this stupid. I'm guessing you're a lonely troll just looking to spice things up on here, because nobody could possibly be this naive.

Then there are those who understand that guns are a tool only to be used in case of an emergency of life or death situations only.

No. People actually have different reasons why they collect guns.
The people who have guns and use them to murder innocent people are cowards, but a gun owner does not qualify you as a coward
