There was no Final Solution until 1942, and even most Nazis didn't know they were gassing, shooting and otherwise killing millions of Jews, disabled, Romany, etc. in horrific conditions even after it started.

In the 1930's, Nazis were happy to know that Jews and other scapegoats were being taken away "somewhere else". Oh, and to steal their businesses, large and small. Florists are a clear danger to national security, right?

As to Hitler being a "great leader", he cancelled elections, murdered millions of his own citizens and got one in 8 Germans killed in an unwinnable war. He deserves no credit for anything; if he did any positive thing it is overshadowed by the horrors of his dictatorship.

I have numerous times pointed out to people that leftist Jews usually don't have a Jewish identity anywhere near as strong as their identity as leftists. Many are even themselves anti-Jewish.
