Why am I called a Nazi by liberals just for pointing out the good and the bad of Hitler’s administration even though I don’t even support Nazism?

Firstly, I don’t stand to benefit from Nazism. I would be considered racially unpure and inferior according to Hitler.

I have a significant share of Slavic/Eastern European and Southern European heritage.

I am also a practicing Christian. And Hitler had a personal dislike of Christians and wanted to impose state atheism. Not only that, but his actions themselves were inherently un-Christian and contrary to values of religion.

Regardless, I still get called a Nazi by liberals just for saying things like “it was good how he reformed the German economy” or “he ended the corruption that dominated the Weimar Republic”.

He had the national German interest in mind, and unlike Paul Hindenberg, was not a corrupt career politician in office there solely to get rich.

So why does it make me a Nazi to say he also did some good for Germany?

I don’t even support his “Final Solution” or the Holocaust.

And neither do I believe in Nazi racial ideology.

So why am I still called a Nazi just for saying Hitler did some good things also?

Assuming you are a native English speaker, you know the subtitles of the language. The word "even" used in this context weakens the statement by implying that the opposite is also a reasonable assumption. You make it sound as if you could have gone either way.

You also seem to believe in some of the Naza propaganda. Yes the economy improved, but in the short term war does that - essentially by borrowing. Look at how the US economy suddenly advanced because of WW2. Its easy to boost the economy in the short term by huge govt spending. (look at what happened in the US during covid).

The Nazi german economy was a war machine - who do you think was paying for all of that production? The Government. War is in a way a very socialist activity - using taxes to pay for government controlled production.

Lots of countries have had bursts of economic growth when the govt paid for building up the military. Why pick out Nazi Germany for support when they also did such horrific things and when their military totally failed at its mission.

Lack of oil was not the CHIEF reason whatsoever, but one of many including, MORE importantly, a lack of food, a lack of steel, lack of spare parts for their tanks and other vehicles, fighting the war on multiple fronts, having Hitler take over strategies and the Battle of Stalingrad.

The cause of death of people who were in concentration camps was that they were in concentration camps, so obviously you're trying to suggest the numbers were inflated by pretending they weren't killed by the people who put them there.

It's your failure to understand that no amount of economic "good" or revitalizing of the German economy could EVER outweigh the evil that he did, and at what cost to humanity. Continuing to push this idea as some sort of logical academic point doesn't make you sound smarter or more analytical, but rather like a sympathizer, despite all your protests.

Having to make a point of "not supporting the Final Solution or Nazi racial ideology gets you nothing but "wow, aren't you a wonderful human". It's like trying to find a silver lining for slavery in the south, a la DeSatan, by saying "but look how great the economy was ---- uh, when all the labor was free!" - They're inhumane and ridiculous statements lacking the very essence of decent humanity.

I disagree that Hitler's economic policy was actually good. I think it was a band-aid put onto a knife wound. By which I mean that Germany's economy would've collapsed due to debt if not for the war and Germany's plunder of other economies for gold, cash, consumer products, labour (paid & slave), natural-resources.
Even so, anyone incapable of accepting the mere suggestion that a bad person had positive traits, whether it be morally good (your example: belief that his economic policy was beneficial) or bad (random example: "he was a good organizer") is either an idiot or completely blind to the nature of world, that good people can do bad things, just as bad people can do good things, same as what is good for one may be bad for another.

In today's culture, the evil a person does outweighs any good they may have done. People on both sides of the aisle automatically reject all ideas and policies of the opposing side simply because they don't like the person.

It's amazing how starting a global war that killed tens of millions and attempting to wipe out an entire religion makes people forget that Hitler liked dogs. Sure, he speeded up the building of Autobahns, and that put lots of people to work, but let's face it, that's not what he's remembered for, is it? It's not what he should be remembered for.

Trump did do a few reasonable things (undertaking to buy certain amounts of vaccines, for example), but then any president would probably have done the same. Taking the pandemic more seriously (wearing a mask in public, etc.) probably would have saved tens or even hundreds of thousands of American lives. Things that were trumpeted as great breakthroughs, like "peace treaties" between countries a thousand miles apart and had never been at war were underwhelming.

Really all he did was try to reclaim German territory stolen in WW1 when Britain and France aggressively declared war on Germany/Austria.
