Why do so many women prefer to be baby mamas over wives?

It’s honestly bad for the kids. I was raised by a single mother and it kind of sucks, I’m jealous of people who grew up in two parent homes. Most of my friends who use drugs and alcohol come from single mother homes.

It's the unintended consequence of feminism. Women don't see thier primary roles as mothers and wives anymore. That is good a good thing! But the problem is kids need just as much parenting and guidance as ever.

Women today would rather be baby mama's than wives because it allows her to keep her options open. Or at least that's the way she sees it.

My old boss actually was largely raising a kid that wasn't his to a previous girlfriend he had. He met her when she was pregnant. She had the baby and things went great for about 2 years. And about the time the kid starting walking the mom decided she was bored with being a mom. By this time the relationship had already ended between her and my boss. She had her own apartment, and she'd leave her kid home alone for like 3 days to go off partying. The kid would call my boss because he was hungry.

I grew up with 2 parents who were married and it sucked. The environment I grew up in was not loving at all. My parents were selfish and stayed together for us kids but we all wanted them to go separate ways because they weren't in love with each other and they were always fighting. Their marriage was never healthy or even happy.

Sometimes having parents who are married is not always what it appears to be to some people.

Trust me it’s better than growing up in a super progressive single mother home. I grew up too quickly and had sex and drank way before I was ready to do so. I would rather have my mom married to an abusive man than grow up the way I did.

Do you not think that growing up in such an environment like I did with my parents that hated each other and fought all of the time that it doesn't have a negative impact on us? I have never been able to have a healthy relationship because I never knew what one was because of the environment I grew up with my parents staying married and exposing us to the shit they did. So don't sit there telling me my parents staying married was better when it wasn't because that shit messed me up. None of us siblings even have anything to do with each other because we grew up in a fucking toxic environment because of our parents because their selfish asses wouldn't get a divorced because they were deluded because of people like you telling them getting a divorce will affect us well guess what them staying married harmed me and my siblings more than you think

you are also very insensitive because you are there saying parents should stay married because its better for the kids. Well go fucking tell that to those who had to divorce their hisbands or wives because they were being bashed and beaten and raped by their husbands. Or do you turn a blind eye to the fact so many women stay with their husbands because of jerks like you telling them they need to stay married because it's better for the kids and than woman ends up getting murdered and the kids end up with no parents on the end. I'd love to be a stay at home mom but I need a husband for that so Im not gonna have a child until I'm happily married:). I understand what you mean. Every child deserves one mom and one dad
