Why do women choose to be single mothers?

And what I’m really asking here is why don’t women wait till marriage to have children

Because all single mothers say the same thing “ I want what’s best for my child” “I want to give my child a better life” okay what’s best is raising them in a home with their father

They're strong independent women who don't need a man, they just need his paycheck via child support payments.

Dont forget government assistance I was just puzzled why some women encourage single mother hood single mothers raise girls who will probably also become single mothers

Single mothers are the poorest demographic in America and their children are the most disadvantaged kids

"I want..." Far too many women are caught up in the fantasies w/o giving sufficient thought or consideration to reality.

Lots of wants but no real substantial thought put into it.

Had a spouse that played that game.

Son and I will be OK - she'll ALWAYS be a nut job.

Choosing to have a child without a father is the worst thing a mother can do for that child. It's a very selfish choice.
