Hawaii has the most southerly spot in the U. S., but it is not considered part of "the South".

The "South" is generally comprised of states that were part of the confederacy during the civil war. They are in the southeastern part of the U. S. from the Mason-Dixon line to the Caribbean coast and including Texas.

if you're asking if its considered part of 'the south' then no its not. the south is basically everything from Virginia down to Florida and then like Kentucky and Tennessee down to Louisiana. Texas might be included too.

No. If I am not wrong in the continental US Key West is. I remember a plaque down there where the spot is. If you are including every US state then Hawaii is I believe. Don't quote me that but I'm 99% on Key West being the southern most in continental US.
