I couldn't help but feel disappointed by his actions. I mean, it's a sporting event on an international stage. Refusing a handshake sends a bad message to the world, especially for Ukraine. It could be interpreted as a racist act. And that's not the image Ukraine wants to project, especially in such a high-profile event, actions like that can shape people's perceptions about a country.
