A neighbour warned a guy selling something that the neighbours door he was knocking on was crazy and be careful
So the selling guy just said 'aha ha its a new day!'
Is that an appropriate response?

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
It's a new day, meaning that the slate is now clean, so it doesn't matter how the guy has acted in the past. The salesman will take his chances and see how the man acts with him on this day, after all, he, the salesman, doesn't have a negative history with the man at the house. Perhaps the man in the house doesn't like the neighbour or the neighbour has the wrong idea about him?
He is given the benefit of the doubt and in anycase the salesman needs to sell, knocking on doors is what he does.
Talk about a looney tune
What?
The guy selling shit
So not the crazy neighbour
Who said the thing.
Cause you said it was the person that was selling shit that said that
Yeah the guy selling stuff said a haha its a new day
Right. So he’s a weird one
So are you. Wtf
You think so? Thanks
Sounds fine to me.
