No. Indeed, they can only enforce laws that exist. They can not write laws. And all of their enforcement efforts eventually end up in front of a judge who a majority of a democratically elected senate decided will be objective and impartial.

Of course that's only the way it is supposed to work. I think all police have too much power. The DOJ isn't an outlier or exception to this deserving special mention. Yes, a case ends up in front of a presumably impartial judge, but even if you are found innocent that doesn't undo all the inconvenience the DOJ caused you leading up to that point.

And no, of course I don't believe every judge is impartial. Especially Federalist society judges - they will always rule on the side of the rich and powerful. That's what the Federalist society is for, after all..

But in so many words the problems with the DOJ are systemic and so calling them out specifically is burying the lede.

They can selectively enforce the laws that will help their agenda and ignore the rest. Then they can do illegal wiretaps and surveillance on Biden's political enemies.

If a law helps an agenda then that is a problem with the way it is written. If they participate in illegal activity they risk whistle-blower, leaks, and people willing to make a deal with DOJ officials who aren't participating in such things to avoid taking the fall. Much like what Trump is being inundated with, in fact..

The truth is that they just don't care anymore. Anything illegal that they do will get stonewalled in the fake news ands nobody ever goes to prison. Biden gets up in front of the whole country and just tells lie after lie and expects everyone to believe it. The press repeats it over and over again and after a while people really do believe it.

But it's all moot because the sort if things he exaggerates are the measures of his success and the media wants him to fail, so if he creates 11 million jobs but says he created 12 million, the media isn't going to ding him for lying. Instead they are going to change the subject to Hunter Bidens Laptop or Biden Is Old because they dont want to talk about him creating 11 million iobs.

Yes, there is literally no crime that the Bidens can commit that will be investigated by the Injustice Dept and the FBI has become like the Nazi SS and can run roughshod over anyone that opposes the democrats.
