I didn’t recognize him until he told me his name.
I met him today and his house and asked him some questions and he told me he was unsure that I was a “fed” when we met.
Stood behind Colin Mocherie at a festival ticket line, once. He was very kind and patient - a fan with zero concept of social awareness and a biiiiig thing for Mocherie pestered him the whole time. He was cordial and polite, without pushing the guy away or getting mad.
It was kinda inspiring to watch considering he was the festival's biggest performer that year.
The ticket booth gal and I fawned over him after he'd left and reminisced some fave Whose Line is it Anyway riffs (without him present because pls no that'd be cringe af).
I don’t know if this counts as accidental but I worked as a waitress in a casino VIP lounge for a few months. I served a few pro athletes, entertainers and politicians.
I've met quite a few famous people, but the only one I can think of that I randomly bumped into was Richard Thomas. He was shopping at a booth at a Renaissance fair. He was really cool. A normal guy. Didn't act like a famous personality.
A famous baseball pitcher. Ran into him at a burger joint. But also went to school with 2 of his kids.
