Why would a GOP candidate running against Trump offer to write Trump's amicus brief?

Ramaswamy offered to do this. Are these other candidates just hanging around because they know Trump will win, and they hope to beg for some role in the administration? Only a couple of candidates are actually going after Trump. WTF is going on here?

@AngryCarl2 Life did get better for not only me but for most Americans. It got markedly worse starting on the first day Biden was in office and has gone downhill since then. Trump was no dictator. America First was a new idea that helped the working class. We have a government now that is just providing handouts to special groups in an attempt to buy votes

@AngryCarl2 he produced videos and fake ballots. There were suitcases of ballots that were pulled out from ubmnder a covered table after all the pill workers were sent home. This was never explained, only dismissed by the court. Maybe you could not see what exactly was in the box because the video resolution was not good enough but why did the investigation have to stop there? It was because the FBI knew what they would find. If they were able to track down every single person that was in DC on Jan6th and find out what they all had for breakfast, how hard could it be to track down the people that pulled out those suitcases, drag them in for questioning and try an get some answers for the American people,

Since none of the above constituted evidence he was wasting the court's time. He couldn't produce any actual evidence because there wasn't any. How could there be? The plan to dispute the election was hatched before anyone voted.
