the sexual revolution has done nothing more than create a dating market structured on hyper-capitalism on steroids where the top 20% of men are the beneficiaries and the wealth is not evenly distributed with the bottom 80% of men

meanwhile women can either choose a life of polygamy as a side-chick or stay single because she can't overcome her internal superficiality or be regulated to singlehood after accumulating too many bodies

overall it's the nuclear family unit that suffers in the process

but yes the sexual revolution has fails it’s actually led for both genders to get out of the dating pool all together. Of course you can put a lot of the blame on government. Because government sucks at everything as per our usual arrangement. When LBJ brought in his great new society he made it so that women could kick men out of the house and they get a paycheck from the government. No fault divorce also ruined it. Women will now break off there marriages and cause the guy to have to pay her alimony (some states like California after 10 years you get alimony for life) and women aren’t stupid they know they can go get married to a guy have his baby dump him and then get child support and alimony form him and whom ever she marries next dump him so he has to pay her alimony so she get alimony form both ex husband plus welfare plus child support. This is the fault of both 3rd and 4th wave feminism and the government for being stupid enough to go along with all of of this. Now men are realizing is a corrupt bargain and there really no reason for a man to get married in the United States or the west any more so they’re moving to places like south East Asian. Where the women are more traditional that have rejected western feminism and are making western men happy and women in the west are pissed that men have abandoned them for the more favorable and traditional eastern women of the Philippines, and places like Thailand and Vietnam.

It depends on what you consider failure. Single women can adopt children, it is easier for them to buy homes. There are more women attending college than men. The alcoholism rates among women are almost what it is for men.
