Because Trump is an outsider to their plans to completely destroy the very concept of constitutional rights. They would rather see you enslaved than free to make your own decisions about your life.

Trump gave the people a great economy with one of the lowest unemployment rates the country had in decades, brought peace to the Middle East and had no problem calling politicians out to their faces.

He is a threat to them so they are making an example out of him.
