How often are moral things, illegalized?

Most of the time, immoral things, are illegalized, but are there any times that something moral, has been illegalized?

I think if you hold traditional beliefs on family and discuss that in a legal or public setting, it could lead to you losing your non profit status if your a religious organization or being banned from employment if you work in the public sector but I believe this situation can be avoided by using gracious and inclusive language to promote your own ideas about traditional and pro biblical ideas.

When morality can not be practiced maybe over idealism maybe that is perfectionism only. That make people kill each other by "moral things"

Feeding homeless people in a lot of places is a misdemeanor. Shameful.

You do realize it's more complicated than that, right? Feeding the homeless can incentivize congregation. Not to mention, homeless people are vulnerable, and that vulnerability has been exploited many times in the past. Whether that be feeding them expired, rotten, or sometimes even poisoned food. Food banks and soup kitchens are not only regulated, to ensure the quality of the food and the health of its donees, but are also strategically located as to prevent traffic or congregation of the homless from impeding shopping districts, housing complexes, etc.

It's not illegal to donate money or food to these organizations, you can still feed the homeless, just not directly.

That's a very thought out and well written response. And I dont deny what you've said. I donate through my church and several food banks through out our area. That being said it's not what I consider to be the most helpful.

Thank you. And your perspective is fair. In many cases feeding the homeless doesn't result in any issues. It's just a question as to what extent government intervention is needed. Not only is it kind of foggy or unclear (there's many factors, many of which are difficult to tally), but it varies from place to place, too. It's a complicated subject.

Alcohol, weed, and even anal sex has been outlawed. Moral things do her outlawed at times.
