India will never be the number one economy and neither will China. China is already on the verge of an uprising and Xi knows it. Before either one of them take over the US, there will be a major catastrophe. To me it's comical to even talk about it.

I saw something that said #2 in 75 years. An acquaintance of mine thinks that China will fall. I disagree but I guess if they do India will be right there. Do you think India will bring back Sharia law if Russia and Chinas New Bank flourishes and the world bank goes bankrupt?

talking about teh Muslim Personal Law (Shariat) Application Act? That only applies to muslims... not the same thing. Saudia arabia has sharia law. Nobody is drinking at the bar in Ramadan. THAT is a country under sharia law. "Modern"(haha) afghanistan is under sharia law because the same laws apply to everyone whether you are muslim or not. a minority population choosing to use thier laws to govern themselves is quite different. native americans in the united states have their own laws... doesn't make it a tribal nation

India is huge and overpopulated, you'd expect it to have a large economy.

As I see it the economy is based on paying workers peanuts and giving them near zero work rights the same as China.

The economy is based on a tech industry that is heavily dependent on the US and China. They do not have much in other industries.
