As a conservative who votes Republican, I really wished you Dems would have chosen Bernie over Joey. What changed your mind?

It seemed like all the Dems were onboard with Bernie, and then changed their minds and voted for Joey.

Joey is a corrupt, pathological liar and an establishment warmonger. I'm not a fan of Bernie, but he would be a thousand times better than the guy you Dems chose. So what changed your mind? Why didn't you follow through and vote for Bernie?

Biden was sold as a moderate, while Bernie was not seen as someone who could win.
I am not sure Bernie is really that interested in winning but rather running which he makes a living on.
If Bernie actually ran anything he would be hard pressed for success and rely very heavily upon the better judgement of others either doing the work or preventing him from doing disastrous things.

In that one respect he would be a better president than Joe Biden simply because he would be too disagreeable, lazy and incompetent to do much.

His limited success as mayor depended heavy upon an unfriendly liberal city council keeping both from doing very much.

Democrats want to win at any cost like us they recognize 2nd place offers no reward. That they picked a long time and historically corrupt player, matters not in that their people are really running things their way for the most part.

@stacey55666 Democrats got a lot more than they would have had with Trump. The country just got all the huge problems Joe Biden created from war, to inflation and 5+ million new people willing able able to work for pennies devaluing the lower and middle class to benefit the rich.

Many dem voters did choose Bernie over Biden, problem, just like 2016, the 2020 Dem Primary was rigged so only Biden could possibly win. Remember in California, a guy was on video arguing for almost 10 minuets with poll workers over giving voters the wrong ballot that most likely wouldn't be counted. DNC didn't want Sanders winning by a larger margin then he did, would have made Biden look bad.

Sadly a lot of voters blindly believe what MSM and their party tells them, and frankly they are not going to come straight out and say oh yea the election was rigged. All this BS crap during primaries is why I left the Dem party and refuse to support the two party system. Yes both parties are guilty of rigging primaries *cough Ron Paul cough*.

Yes I do. Will be voting in the Dem primary then will switch my party affiliation to Independent. Was going to do it sooner, but never got around to it, and when I did RFK entered the race, so I'll be switching after the primary.

So this is just symbolic? Because the independents never win. I'm not saying that's a bad thing to vote independent, because if the Republicans don't impeach Joey, I won't vote for anyone but an independent.

Not symbolic, I really hat both parties as they are basically two sides of the same coin. Being registered as independent doesn't automatically vote independent, their are many registered voters registered as independent who vote for candidates of the 2 major parties. Just remember if Biden is impeached and kicked out of office, Kamal Harris is next in line for presidency.

The the 2 parties have learned their lesson since the 1992 election and made it virtually impossible to win the presidency as a 3rd party candidate, tho both Sanders and Trump has/had enough grassroots support they at least could of had a viable 3rd party campaign even if the would have never won.
