I was wrong. I was hoping for some how-my-thinking-evolved stories, but I really didn't get any (except one mentioning the "discovery" that 9/11 was an inside job).

Alright so I don't fully count since in this election I didn't switch. But back in 2016 I was in favor of Bernie Sanders and I could not imagine why people would want Trump instead. Its around 2017 that I had my political awakening. At the beginning of it was a trump supporter who showed me a counter opinion that Bernie's feel good economic policies were actually not realistic. I didn't really get that yet but it did plant a seed. I then came into contact with a new guilty pleasure, PC vs Console debate content. Which led me coming into contact with real liberal content that explained my beliefs perfect and always came to the right conclusions, and instinctively I knew they were right in saying what I believed and very consistent. But I did not always know how they so consistently got to those conclusions. Trough those channels I then landed on channels that were honest about the news, and things kept growing. Around the time I also saw a documentary about how 9/11 was an inside job and discovered official narratives can be completely false and I learned how undemocratic the EU actually is.

So for me it was a pretty quick change in belief systems because for the first time ever I learned how important it was and that there were more sides to it than I originally was hearing. I'm not set firm in my beliefs so people can proof me wrong and that will work if you come with a good argument. So this helped me form my belief I now hold. Interestingly enough the commentator that introduced me into it switched from being a real liberal to full on conservative. I still enjoy his content, but I now find myself disagreeing with him more than I used to. I'm still like how he use to be and I still consider his old views correct, he failed to persuade me to abandon them like he did.
