Third party, or people who seem third party, will almost never win, even if they have the right letter after their name. The system isn't designed that way. The big government machine wants you in the two-party system, thinking that either party is different from the other, as you slowly lose rights, privileges, etc. One term it's loses at the hands of a Rep, next term it's loses at the hands of a Dem. Indies might win on a rare occasion, but they have to really appeal to almost everyone, and still be a long-time politician, part of the machine. I'm not a Bernie fan, but I know what it's like supporting a third-party candidate. Which is why I don't vote anymore. It's going to turn out how "they" want it to turn out anyway. Best we can do is take care of our own while the tyranny becomes more tyrannical over time.

He lives in some fantasy land amusement park where he thinks Main Street USA can (or wants) to visit MarxistLand, SocialismLand, and can use the power and wealth of a capitalist society to jumpstart a socialist utopia. This flies in the face of every single credible economist who has ever lived, and bases its ideas from those who have nothing but failed examples or theoretical suggestions. that doesn't make sense, sanders endorsed biden in 2019 for 2020 and now for 2024. not only did he withdraw, he directed his supporters to support biden! "We could NOT have had Bernie" but opposite, if trust bernie then would obey his recommendation.

that said, his policies are absurdly foolish, which is why even democrats didn't vote for sanders in primary. after several "setbacks" losses he withdrew.
