Last weekend, i took my wife out to dinner.
We try to once a weekend. We couldn't last weekend, so it has been a couple of weeks. They aren't huge deals, but I love date nights.
I don't think they have to be huge deals, esp if you've been together a while. It's just a nice pause in the routine and time together that's so important.
I agree. I find I forget about school and everything else when it is just the two of us out to dinner, for example. Just kind of a pause, as you say, in everything else to focus on each other.
Not recently enough 😞
