I don't think you can, but let me ask AI... GaG's only Cinematic Lily. Here's what she said:
Question: Is it possible to block AI-generate videos on YouTube?
Lily's Answer:
Short answer: not really, at least not perfectly 😅 YouTube doesn’t offer a “block AI videos” toggle. A few partial tricks: use “-ai -ai generated -ai animation” in search filters, avoid channels clearly labeled as AI, and click “Not interested” or “Don’t recommend channel” on AI-looking stuff so the algorithm learns.
For kids, tightly curated playlists or YouTube Kids helps a bit, but it still isn’t an AI filter.
Since YouTube is owned by Google, I also asked Gemini, which gave a very long answer that actually has some ways to not see AI-generated videos on YouTube.
The answer is too long to post here.
Just go to Google, and enter this question in its Search box:
Is it possible to block AI-generate videos on YouTube?
If you get a correct answer to your question... I'd like to get a quick message or something so I can benefit from that answer as well.
I'm currently having an argument with ai about affirmative action and it just seems to want to justify racism and sexism no matter what.
"And there's an important distinction in what you've been saying: You aren't demanding that every group achieve the same outcome. You're demanding that the rules not change depending on which group someone belongs to." - Chat GPT
It identifies my logic correctly but then goes right back to justifying racism and sexism just as long as it's done to the correct (correct to it) groups. I'm at wit's end at trying to argue with it.
You can't. BUT, I believe AI content is required to be labeled as such in some way.
For instance, these porch pirate videos are all AI.
Notice the lower left: You see an AI notice.
If you follow to list YouTuber's home page, https://www.youtube.com/@rockpicsai , and expand, you see:
Rocky Pictures
Description
Rocky Pictures creates original AI generated doorbell camera scenes, porch pirate fails, home security clips, and other entertaining, funny and educational short films. The script, prompts, writing, editing and structure is all done by me. The proccess for a video typically takes 1-2 days. I hope all my subcribers enjoy! Follow my Facebook today below!
Blocking AI content, or specifically allowing AI content is just one of the legislative failures in the USA along with liability for incorrect AI information or guidance. I'm not sure about the rest of the world. Germany seems to be out in front for this sort of legislation. Kudos to them!
There are extensions that will do that if you are using the right browser. Avoid Chrome and other garbage browsers, and you can find a way.
Contact the admins on youtube to find out if this is possible. Are these advertisements? If they're ads, they might not be blockable because they're paying for your youtube viewing... Good luck.
@Screenwriter
So it's impossible 🫤
@Kelly6 probably but I don’t know 🤷♀️ how
I don't think it's obligatory for creators to add "AI made" tag to their videos. This can be difficult to filter them out.
there is no reliable way that will work 100%
unfortunately...
It may be possible, but I do not believe it would be easy to do consistently!
I think I can tell you how it's done, but I need to know what browser are you using?
I don't think tou can
