Insofar as I did not vote for Mr. Biden, I have no regrets. Though I add that I was no fan of Mr. Trump, but as this time there were no viable write-in options I had no choice but to vote the lesser of two poor choices. Preferring the devil I do know to that I did not know quite so well.
A poor choice, though, Mr. Biden has certainly proved to be. Offering, oddly enough, qualities not unlike his predecessor, albeit with an added dollop of staggering incompetence such as has not been seen since the glory days of stagflation and foreign policy mayhem that was the Carter years.
Mr. Biden has, in terms of style, not been unlike Mr. Trump. Albeit where Mr. Trump was bombastic, Mr. Biden has been peevish. Verbal gaffes. Partisan divides. No identifiable policy agenda. If anything, Mr. Biden has been more prolific with the Executive Orders than Mr. Trump was - with even the New York Times telling Mr. Biden to slow things down.
Mr. Biden has attempted to portray himself as a more unifying force than Mr. Trump. However, to date, it has not proved to be the case. The most unifying moment being when President Biden received ten moderate Republican Senators at the White House. They all came out speaking of compromise on a COVID bill.
Then - a mere 48 hours later - the President came out with a statement saying that the Republicans were free to sign on to the COVID bill and maybe there would be a agreement on a few secondary points. Translation - Let's compromise. Do it my way.
Not impressive. Throw in Mr. Biden's Trump-like penchant for name calling. See also his calling the decision by the Governors of Texas and Mississippi to end their state's COVID mask requirements. Neglecting that 14 states never had any such requirements, Mr. Biden chose to call the Governor's "Neanderthal thinking." This in the best tradition - or worst, according to taste - of Trump-like vitriol.
Suffice to say, at least in terms of style, if the American public had grown weary of Mr. Trump's lack of diplomacy, it would appear that all they got was more of the same. Though again, to repeat, more peevish than bombastic. See also Mr. Biden's annoyed response when a reporter had the effrontery to ask him if he should not upgrade his goals for COVID vaccine injections.
As to the aforementioned Executive Orders, it was probably not a good idea to sign the first one on inauguration day eliminating the Keystone pipeline. Whatever the merits of the policy - and they are debatable - wiping out 4000 high paying union jobs your first day on the job is not exactly good PR. Even Mr. Trump at his most obtuse was not that tone deaf.
To this must be added the rising problems on the southern border. Mr. Biden's goal seems to have been to wipe out any of Mr. Trump's policies just because they were Mr. Trump's policies and not because of any substantive policy differences. The result has been policy for its own sake without any defining rationale or purpose.
Hence now, in the case of immigration, a rising problem that need not have been. With a surge of unaccompanied minors crossing the border - an eye popping 134% increase over last year. Plus the admittance into the country of over 600 immigrants with COVID - a mass spreader event if ever there was one.
When questioned on this, the President's new Secretary of Homeland Security tragicomically announced that the rising tide of immigrants were welcome to come - just please not yet. It is babblingly incoherent to say no more.
CONT.
Though perhaps not quite so incoherent as when the President then announced that his Vice-President, the dreary Kamala Harris, would head up the southern border effort. To be then, several hours later, contradicted by the Vice-president, who announced that actually she would not be handling the border clean-up effort but would be handling diplomacy with the states of Central America. So it goes.
Put it all together and it has not been an auspicious start. Mr. Biden is a bland figure of no discernible views or philosophy. The directionless and haphazard nation of his first month in office amplifying the point. It is to be hoped - without much real optimism - that there is better to come.
I got sucked into the Trump hating. I went with what my friends said & felt. But as I've been reading for myself, turns out President Trump never said the things I was told he did. I think voters should NOT fall into the traps set by either Democrat/Republican parties & that includes the media.
The media is more for the Democrats. That is so obvious to me more than ever. I'm actually ashamed to not have done more research and what's even more crazier than that, people are still stuck on the lies. Yesterday I paid almost 80 dollars to fill up my jeep..! IT seems everything I heard people saying that supported Trump is true. What a mess. I just wish Trump controlled himself but then again, he just told it like it is. I don't know why or how I let that bother me so much.. Again-I fell victim of going with the flow instead of thinking for myself. I am definitely without a doubt changing parties. Democrats are sneaky evil people!! And if Trump runs again-and I hope he does, I'm voting for him in 2024!!!
At least you found out about the truth, even though it was later rather than sooner. Welcome to the good fight, my dude.
I wasn't dumb enough to vote for someone that can't complete a sentence 90% of the time. That being said, if he doesn't make it through his term the alternative is even worse as Kamala would be an even bigger disaster!
Trump was more like a dumpster fire clown. He was was pretty useless. He’s trying to keep himself relevant but it’s not working.
As for him and completing sentences, you’re getting him confused with trump. That joke left office in January.
i voted for Trump... and i still feel Biden stole the election with ballot fraud.
and Gas prices are now $3.57 here.. in Feb, they were $1.19 a gallon.
that was in October. plus, that was due to demand-not biden.
@Sabretooth yea everything opening up caused oil to rise but Biden killed the keystone pipeline and has a boner for climate change policy
@CreamySeed where's the profit in a useless piece of land?
Dumb bitches right here. Lmao y'all some dumb hoes. Need to suck a dick and move on. Biden snatched america. Haha. Trump bum ass gone. Get over it. I did. I voted for trump but u dont see me over here saying it was stolen like some nut job. Lmao. Politics make small brain people go nuts. Get the fuck over it. You really think that would happen in the USA. Lmao you think black people are taking over? Lmao. Maybe if we didn't treat them so badly over decades and centuries there wouldn't be all this shit.

I never regret any choices made because it was me who made the decision to vote for him or not, noone else. Im more disappointed in the fact that we still allow ourselves to be convinced that the people in office have all this control and we purposely put ourselves in a position thinking we have to let them control us telling us what we can/can not do, who we can/can not like, where we can/can not go, etc. Disappointed that even though we know how strong and smart we are as a nation when we come together as one, we still refuse to cut the strings we keeping giving them that they use to control aka "lead us to becoming a stronger and better country" when at no point did anyone say we were weak in the first place. Disappointed at the fact that we keep forgetting that we are not below them, they are where they are because of us. We are the reason they are in the office they are in. Overall Im disappointed in the fact for a country that had an outrage about how kneeling is disrespectful to the flag and we will protect it and the freedom it represents at all cost, But when everything the flag is being threatened, we turn a blind eye acting oblivious to the idea of threat coming from inside
I doubt many people will regret it, in order to pull the lever for him in the first place you had to believe a lot of untrue things and generally be quite ignorant.
Take for example a very recent poll that showed he is getting high marks for the economy and COVID vaccines. First off he criticized the vaccines prior to November 3rd and second all he had to do was continue doing what Trump had already done, he did zero heavy lifting on the vaccines. As for the economy, it just goes to show that bribing people with their own money works. That $1,400 is going to cost everyone at least ten times that in the long term.
Yes. I had no idea he would close that pipline and tell all of those thousands of workers to just become computer programmers. And I had no idea he would destroy women's sports and cause a crisis on the border. He sold himself as a moderate, but he is as far left as they come.
I've never voted because at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter for me. Nearly all of the candidates have critical flaws and the method of which they propose/introduce is horrible. (Such as attaching items to massive omnibus bills that have nothing to do with them, in order to get their agendas passed. Most recently like when they tried to push the DREAMERS issue on an INFRASTRUCTURE bill!) At the end of the day, it's the members of Congress that we need to have more influence over, however each person primarily serves their own interests. (Which is why I strongly believe we need term limits for all public offices and potentially add an age cap to positions.)
And really, at the end of the day, I can honestly say most "Presidents" have had nearly no influence on my daily life. Sure, they may have made some microscopic adjustments to policies/taxes, but nothing ground breaking.
As someone who's not American but had chance to follow USA elections.. I think you guys should consider yourselves lucky for having Joe Biden. Donald Trump was good in the beginning, he knew how to manage the money and economy however its not enough to live in succesful&peaceful country, this guy was about to bring chaos and civil-war in your country because having ambitions of remaining as the president. Donald Trump had potential to be dictator and dictators always think about theirselves before their country, if you don't like Joe Biden today its fine but you should know he's at least 10 times better than Donald Trump.
Joe is doing the same things that Trump did kind of stuff, revoking executive orders that actually made sense. Now family separation occurs again at our border, just this time on the Mexico-side. Families taking advantage of parting ways, and our we'll let the kids in policy, even if the conditions are pretty lousy.
As opposed to what? Defying a court order?
The incident that caused all the bad press was Trump moving to actually enforce our immigration laws by detaining all illegal border crossers. This was a non-controversial move on his part. It was the media that lied incessantly that made a perfectly normal thing controversial.
lol no, Trump was a garbage fire. We were the laughing stock of the whole planet with that idiot as our leaden. Biden is bad, but compared to Trump he is a genius lol
@Paige90 sadly, we were-many times-leaders were laughing and mocking trump.
@Paige90 a good taste: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBYP-zw4Uis
@Paige90 Preach! Nothin' but facts!
@Paige90 OMG, I traveled the world before Coronavirus. During Barack years there was much more respect for America, during the Trump years, people *all over the world* were laughing at us, were embarrassed that we had such an idiot leader, and just sad... I'm talking 3 continents.. all over, it was an incredible change in attitude.
''I'' laughed.
The rest of the world hated Trump because he wanted the NATO deadbeats to pay their fair share, pulled out of the WHO so they lost most of their financing, reigned in foreign aid, especially for countries that the US had no interest in, stopped the Iran nuclear deal, got tough on China and got us out of NAFTA. They were not laughing, they were crying.
@exitseven looks like laughter, to me.
@exitseven besides, trump got out of that nuke deal. as for china... where do i start? if your specially talking about the tariffs... yeah, we suffered for that.
If Trump was so bad please explain how he was nominated for Nobel peace price?
I only see the exact opposite with Joe Biden - Kamala Harris era.
It only took 4 of presidency weeks to fire off some bombs now in 2021.
It's very ironic you don't see how easy it is to brainwash sheeps.
@Chris_u006 he wasn't.
@Sabretooth But he was. Where did I mention which year? You might think I meant last year, which I didn't.
In fact I saw the announcement when he was mentioned as one of the nominated.
@Chris_u006 okay. you were right... however, according to what i'm reading-a nomination doesn't mean much-any one of thousands of people can nominate someone for the prestigious award. And two people have come forward saying they nominated Trump. “Any person or organization can be nominated by anyone eligible to nominate,” the committee states. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has no input into submissions, though it decides who actually wins the prize. “To simply be nominated is therefore not an endorsement or extended honor to imply affiliation with the Nobel Peace Prize or its related institutions,” the committee states. according to the rule-I can be nominated
@Sabretooth
You are not wrong about what has been said about it.
That on the other hand doesn't make me agree one bit.
So what you are saying wirhout actually saying it is that someone who is happy and honored to only be nominated isn't that at all and are lying about it?
If so by thinking and saying that, you are trying to steal and kill some peoples happiness and honor. Is that the cancelling world we want to live in though, for REAL?
@Chris_u006 the only reason he wanted it was because of his obsession with Obama-Obama seems to haunt him.
@Chris_u006 'It's very ironic you don't see how easy it is to brainwash sheeps.' And that is the main issue. The lucrative merger between corporation and state, where the corporation has become the henchmen for the state. The weapon of choice is to control information. Those of us who are informed see the misinformation. Censorship, cancelling, the end of the first amendment as we know it. Compelled and coercersed speech. It's all happening. People who don't pay attention are easily swayed. And I don't know the solution because the establishment has a lot of power. They took out a billion dollar plus company, who broke no laws, nor any rules.
@Chris_u006 ... continued: The conglomerates got together and silenced 23 million people in one fell swoop and took away the company's legal resources as well. 1/9/21, will be remembered a long time from now as our own version of 'Krystal Nacht' in some free country's history books. I am specifically speaking of Parler. It was growing fast, but they didn't conform to the 'correct' ideology so they were removed. And it went over with a whimper. Almost no media coverage and what there was, was negative. What they were accused of, Facebook, twitter and instagram were involved in just as much. But those were the companies involved with destroying an entire company for having 'bad thinking'
I don't care to get into the minutia of policy. The problems are far, far bigger than that. People are being silenced and it's evident. Louder with Crowder was just banned from YouTube, who is own by Google, who is owned by Alphabet.
We're in bad fucking trouble and most people don't realize it. And most people won't realize it until it's too late. That's the biggest most alarming problem we face and I know what to do about it, but I don't have the power to make it happen. Trump/ Biden are media creations. Narratives that barely if at all wash with any sort of reality. Yes, we are in bad fucking trouble and it's only going to get worse as the populous gets more and more zombified.
I think it's already too late to recover what was the US. Whatever it's becoming won't be recognizable to people who lived just 20-30 years ago. We are dying as a nation. We're becoming an '*ist' style of government. I just don't know what form of '*ist' it will be. Pretty soon, we may be climbing that wall in the south.
@Floppy2112 did you just defend Parler? Wasn’t it a social media platform for snowflakes because their racist white supremacist misogynistic views were not welcome elsewhere? it died? Lol
Good sheep... Baaaah!
Did you say your good little woke prayers today? Like a proper sheep?
and, surrendered their users to the FBI.
@Sabretooth Foreign leaders hated Trump because he would not roll over and play dead like previous administrations. It was America First or the hiway. He made NATO deadbeats pay their fair share, got us out of the Paris Climate Boondoggle, and the Iran Nuclear Deal. He implemented tariffs on China and played hardball with North Korea. Foreign countries were not laughing, they were crying.
Now they really have something to laugh about.
@exitseven... you mean like he stood up to Putin and Erdogan? oh... wait... he didn't. everyone knows how weak he is
@exitseven and, how to deal with him.
@Sabretooth Putin was never the problem.
@exitseven not according to our intelligence. plus, we have a confession: https://youtu.be/lMkxKC1qMnY?t=65
I didn't vote for him so I can't regret it. I'm embarrassed that our nation picked him, though.
@AzzaBlue I agree, Biden's policies if fully allowed will destroy this country.
One problem we have here is the people running for congress and president seem to mostly suck these days so no matter what side it is we are not getting quality people in office. I have not had someone I actually wanted to vote for in a very long time, usually you are trying to pick the lesser of two evils. And the dems honestly thought a guy with dementia was the best choice? That was the best the US could come up with? There were much better candidates than creepy Joe but the dems seem hell bent on picking the absolute worst candidates.
You should be more embarrassed that trump won the election in 2016, I know I was.
@Crimson811 yeah what she said my mother thought of voting for him over hilary clinton then I thought I have no mother
He and his party stole the election illegally, proof was destroyed when the building in Tennessee was bombed that housed the electronic voting machines waiting for examination for tampering, I could go on...
Yeah no I have common sense and value my freedoms , the constitution and the bill of rights. I am pro 2nd amendment pro life and pro God... I never once voted democrat in my life and never will, I feel sorry for the people that voted for that babbling braindead child sniffing pedophiliac idiot.
The American Left has the largest ego the world has ever set eyes upon, it's nowhere near close to how bad the right wing was with Trump. This man could do anything "morally abhorrent" and they'll say how "its better than trump"
No, I settled for him and it’s an improvement from hearing about Donald Trump every single day. That and he isn’t a socialist. Which is good enough for me. Considering I would have even prefer a third Bush term over Trump.
I didn’t for him personally, but I’m quite sure some democrat volunteer signed a mail in ballot for me in his name. You know that crazy man didn’t get 80 million votes, OR actually win the election.
For anyone interested in proof, go watch “UNMASKED” on Rumble.
The man is at least doing something. The last 4 years felt hate filled was getting to a point I didn't want to be American. Much less a PoC.
Joe Biden isn’t doing anything but making life worse for the Americans people. Trump cut taxes, got the economy the best it has ever been destroyed two major terrorist leaders Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and qasem soleimani. After winning the wars Obama started trump didn’t get us into any new wars. He was hard on China, China would have never Think about attacking Taiwan when Trump was in office now they’re testing the waters to see whether or not Joe Biden will do anything about it. Not to mention trump i’ve gotten a lot of countries assigned the Abraham accord getting a lot of air in countries to except Israel’s existence and fight back against Iran Biden is trying to ruin that And get back into the Iran nuclear deal. Essentially betraying Sudan the UAE Saudi Arabia and Israel Morocco and Oman. If Joe Biden goes back to the Iran nuclear deal no country in the Middle East should ever trust us again.
Now I get what you are saying The last four years felt hate filled. Let me remind you who was spreading the hate, it wasn’t trump he just kinda poked at it. The news (except fox). Never covered any of the good things Trump did they just made you I think that everything Trump was doing was absolutely horrible. Which it was not. But that’s the way the media coved Trump which spread hate. Also I didn’t start with Trump it started in 2012 with Barack Obama with his intersectional politics was divided the nation into groups white black Asian gay women Latino. Which turned the people against each other. Example why should people in 2021 be paying for what their ancestors did in 1852 we never owned slaves why should we pay?
Also Joe Biden has successfully destroyed women sports by a lot by allowing men Think they are women to play in women’s sports and take their clothes off in front of women in their own locker rooms we’re talking 16 year olds here. They have essentially killed the definition of man and woman. They start the building of the Dakota pipeline which cost millions of people jobs and he’s trying to destroy the oil and natural gas industry and expect them to learn computer programming which takes years to learn. So Joe Biden is doing something he’s dividing the country even more do you still not regret voting for Donald Trump
@Stoner710 if you had half a brain you would know killing a leader of a terrorist group isn't actually fixing ANYTHING. it makes shit worse. You make the way for worse leaders with an even larger appitite for destruction to lead. Any idea of planning and trying to be in the shadows go out the window. And as to making life better for Americans that's just propaganda. Trump only cared about the upper 20%.
Not really I’m not in the top 20% and I did amazing with Trump tax plan I got a 2$ raise then 3$ raise the next year now covid killed the business but that was because of the CCP not trump. Also killing leaders of terrorist does help a lot. It leave the fallowed leaderless most of ISIS was captured or killed we’ve now gone 2 years without isis
@Stoner710 your raise probably didn't have to do with the tax cuts XD. More likely state and federal wage standards increased which as a result. Made your work place re evaluate the value of all it's employees and make raises accordingly.
@Stoner710 as to Isis it's still around got some free Lance military family helping locals try and survive while. Also trying to get artifacts out. In one piece. With all the destruction going on of history.
Minimum wage in 8.50 in my state isn’t hasn’t gone up if it does go up my state won’t be able to afford it even McDonald’s and most fast food restaurants will leave the state if the minimum wage goes up because people in Montana are just not as valuable as somebody in California or Washington where are used to live. I got a raise because of Trump tax cuts and we hired more people because of the tax cuts unfortunately due to covid and the lock downs the business went under. And now since there pushing a 15 dollar minimum wage most places here won’t hire someone to flip burgers unless they have a College degree they’re not gonna pay a 16-year-old kid 15 bucks an hour or even someone with just a Highschool diploma thank God I went to college. Before I moved here
I cannot regret something I never did or wouldn't do even if I had the right to vote in USA.
But with proof shown and ignored in court, it was in fact an election theft in more than one way.
Do the searches yourself but I can mention one good trustworthy source that looked into some adresses of voters which turned out to not even existing.
Steven Crowder and his second channel Crowder Bits on youtube.
I wouldn’t know... didn’t vote for Biden, thank goodness.
I dislike the guy. But if you paid attention during his campaign and not listened only to the biased media. Yes there is another!
He pretty much told you everything that he has already done.
The one big one was the pipeline. But he forgot to come up with the good paying jobs for the displaced workers to go to.
Also opening the boarder was the other one.
Now he even thinks that business will not pass on the increased costs with his business tax increase.
There will be more!!!
I regret that once again, I didn't have the option to vote for Bernie. Because that was my choice. But I knew I was definitely not voting for Trump. So Joe it was. I'll reserve judgement since he's only been in office for 2 months.
90% of the Biden voters were actually just anti-trumps so they settled for him, instead of having giant orange baby for 4 more years.
correction: insane, stupid orange crybaby.
No one has ever won an election by “not being the other guy.” And it didn't start here. Look up the video “unmasked” on Rumble.
Would probably have been useful to make a 3rd option "I didn't vote for Biden". Right now the poll will just be skewed, because people who didn't vote him will possibly vote yes regardless.
I would have voted for Biden if Kamala wasn't the vice president elect... Kamala is a big fat liar.
Biden is old and is the puppet of Kamala, just wait and watch.
