Would it really be that bad if we abolished the police in society?

Wete brainwashed to think that the police keep law and order when that's far from the truth, society keeps itself law and order, the police just harass civilians and arrest victims of crimes and permits karens and bad behaviors among individuals in society especially if they're women. I don't support blm but they had the right idea on abolishing the police after george Floyd's death. If you see a woman getting abused or you see a mass shooter are you going to wait to call the cops who'll likely take some time to arrive or would you be a man and handle it yourself? Honestly I'd rather the area wherever I live be as bad as new orleans or Baltimore levels of crime and filth than have law and order and the police are corrupt violent turds who arrest the wrong people and let the actual criminals go away.

I hate the police the same way i hate people who work in store and accuses innocent people of shoplifting. And Look through their bags. It happened to me and left me angry. But at the same time can we trust people to behave? can i trust to leave my house door open and unlocked and return to find everything in its place? Yea my houses door sucks and can be easy to break. But still a door deters. If u want to see a society without police just Look at the BS happening in schools. Where Bullies get away with horrible stuff because everything is under the control of the school principles. Bullies do things that if they did outside a school they will be arrested.

If the police were to be abolished there is only one proper way for a society to do that.

You cannot wave a magic wand, disappear the police, and think it will end well.

What would have to happen, is that a society would have to voluntarily move in that direction of abolishing the police, in addition to abolishing government in general.

The police only purpose is to enforce the law.

This society would have to slowly move towards a free society, voluntarily.

What would cause a society to do such a thing? It's people would. have to be probably smarter and more conscious than we are now.

It's perfectly reasonable that a. society without police could exist.

Murray Rothbard and the anarcho capitists have ideas about how it could work.

But the reality is, the problem is getting there. You can't just snap your fingers. Society has to change. The people habe to change. Our beliefs have to change. Our moral system has to change.

The result?


Crime skyrocketed to an all time high.


But hey, I get it.


In theory, it sounds great, the people policing themselves.


But, in practice?


As many bad apples there may be in the police force, there’s even MORE bad apples in the general population.


So, it’s just the lesser of 2 evils.


Cops aren’t perfect. Cops can be bad. But, overall, there is less crime when they are present as compared to when they are absent.

This is truly a stupid idea, no cops=no law=people can do what they want and no one can help those in need=either you start killing people or be a victim forever cuz there is no jail/prison to put them in. I can explain much more in depth but anyone with half the brain would agree with this.
