I ask because it seems like neither party cares about the American people. A few months ago, I decided to leave my wonderful state which been cursed with the leftist corruption. As a libertarian who leans right, like blue states, I discovered that Florida is filled with illegals, drugs, and homelessness; yet Ron DeSantis makes Florida out to be this wonderful paradise.

During my stay, I have noticed that the cost of living is quite high and the pay rate is extremely low. From observing this, I have noticed that neither party wants to solve these specific issues.

The implication to the bothsides nonsense is that symmetry is the same as balance. That works for physical objects but not for ideas. If one person is stepping on your foot it is not a "same bird" problem if they argue why they should be allowed to keep stepping on your foot while you argue why they should get off of it. You must always consider objective reality. And objectively, while democrats suck at messaging, and are sluggish to deliver on their promises, the fact is they objectively move in that direction. And republicans objectively move towards Christian nationalism, authoritarianism, oligarchy, and other ways of cementing the power of the rich.

It is false to say democrats don't want to solve these issues. They want to but can't because they don't have the power to do so. And if they campaign on trying, the right wing media spins it as socialism, which assures they continue to not have the power to fix it. Bird's eye view, that's what's been happening for four decades now 🤷

Everyone I know in Florida says just the opposite. I told my cousin how much I pay for car insurance and he tells me he has 3 vehicles and does not pay as much for all three. My friend sold his house here and bought two homes in Florida and is renting one out for extra income. I am trying to talk my wife into moving down there.
